To all V1 depositors:

We wanted to share an early update with everyone using the V1 vault. With total supply now around $200k, the cost of keeping the strategy active, especially gas and rebalancing has started to outweigh the yield it can realistically produce.

To keep things efficient and make sure we’re directing resources where they benefit users most, we’ll be wrapping up yield farming for V1 at the end of this year.

This gives you 5–6 weeks’ notice to migrate to V2 if you want to continue earning yield. V2 is where all new optimizations and improvements are going, and it offers much better long-term economics.

You’re absolutely welcome to stay in V1 nothing changes on that front but please keep in mind that earnings will stop once farming ends.

As we start the new year, we want to thank everyone who used and supported Altitude throughout 2025.

Last year reinforced a belief we’ve held from the beginning: long-term BTC and ETH holders should not have to sell assets they have conviction in just to access liquidity. They also should not be forced to actively manage complex DeFi positions or leave collateral idle while paying interest.

Throughout 2025, more users chose to borrow without selling and let their collateral work in the background to reduce borrowing costs over time. Our focus was on making that experience simpler, clearer, and built on infrastructure that has already proven itself.

Growth came from execution rather than promises. We prioritised transparency and product decisions designed to hold up over time.

We enter this year with strong momentum and a clear focus on improving crypto-backed loans and make them more accessible.
