Sometimes, what we desire may not be what's best for us. When life doesn't unfold the way you imagined, remember that Allah's wisdom far surpasses ours. He doesn't withhold good from you; He's aligning you with something better, something you might not see yet. Isn't it comforting to know that even when things seem uncertain, they're being guided by the One who loves you most? Trust that every delay, every detour, is perfectly timed. His plan is always for your greater good.

This Ramaḍān, fix an amount of Qur’ān to memorise every day. Even if you do two lines a day, with consistency you will have memorised 60 lines by the end of the month inshā’Allāh.

Just imagine that you are in the hereafter and you are being told: “Read, ascend, and recite slowly and distinctly as you used to recite in the world…” (Abū Dāwūd) and depending on how much you’ve memorised, that is where you will have to stop. The more you’ve memorised, the higher you will be able to go. Aim high this Ramaḍān!

Delayed, not denied. When disappointment knocks on your door again, say Alhamdulillah, remember that even delays are being blessed in the hands of Allah. Dua is powerful. However, Allah works in His timing, not ours. A blessing delayed is not a blessing denied. Your plans may be delayed, but Allah’s plan for you will never be voided. Delay is not denial. Sometimes we tend to think we are waiting for Allah to bless us but sometimes Allah is preparing you for the blessing that he has for you. You need to emotionally and maturely be ready for it. “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition [or circumstances] of people until they change what is in themselves.” - Quran 13:11

Regretting a wrong decision, especially one that affected your deen or emotional well-being, is not a sign of failure — it's a sign of your awareness, and softness of heart. Many righteous before us made hard choices and turned back to Allah in pain. That pain purifies.

Too many people are dying right now. May we die with iman , taqwa and tawakkal. That is what I always pray for, dying when Allah is pleased with me. Nothing is more important than that .
