An essential guide for #Qurbani/Udh’hiyah prepared by Shāfi’ī Ūlamā
The rich tapestry of the Islamic way of life is preserved within the jurisprudence of the four Mathabs. With these publications we aim to bring you originals, authentic literature from experts in their fields. To reach the broader public, these laws of Fiqh are presented in a simplified and easy to read manner.
This publication contains the rules of Udh’hiyah from the Shafi viewpoint. It will serve as a handy reference book for followers of the Shafi Mathab and will also be a useful point of reference for followers of the other Mathabs.
Mufti M Taha Karaan rahimahullah, the late Principal of Dār al-ʿUlūm al-ʿArabiyyah al-Islāmiyyah, in Cape Town kindly consented to writing a foreword for the booklet.
