Learners were also given a quiz question and the two #winners will receive personalised gifts.

It was Awesome!
GIRLS RAMADAAN READINESS PROGRAM
Al Hidayah Centre held a power-packed Ramadaan readiness program aimed at high school girls on Saturday, 18 February 2023. The event, coordinated and run by qualified ladies, took place at the Movement Hall.
The items were designed to empower the girls and boost them in preparation for Ramadaan. The program had a Qirat, Nasheed and Dua. Participants were treated to an interactive recipe session on healthy smoothie recipes for Ramadaan. They were given tasters and a handy recipe booklet.
A short talk on the Importance of Ramadaan was delivered, as well as a refresher on the Rules of Fasting. This was followed by a Quiz and those who answered correctly were given prizes.
A breakaway session was held with the girls making beautiful Taraweeh counters to help them keep track of the Taraweeh Rakaats. The morning ended with participants getting copies of Ramadaan Calendars and delicious burgers and a drink.
Learners from 14 schools and Madressas took part.
May Allah Ta'ala reward all those who made the program a success and grant them and their families a wonderful #Ramadaan!
This is part of Al Hidayah Centre's schools program where our Ulama hold regular programs and interaction with learners at high #schools in Port Elizabeth. We also communicate with schools to ensure that Muslim learners can practice on their Islamic beliefs.

Al Hidayah Centre has established a formal program at government high schools in Port Elizabeth aimed at strengthening the faith of Muslim learners.
Many are no longer in any Islamic learning program. We tackle current topics designed to empower the learners to meet the challenges to their faith.
Non-Muslim learners have also latched on to the program to fill the spiritual void in their lives with four accepting Islam.
We conduct weekly programs currently at:

As part of our weekly #schools outreach, we conducted programs to motivate learners and equip them with #study skills.

St Thomas, Chapman, Westville, Woolhope, Bethelsdorp and Sanctor.
The over 230 learners in grades 10-12 who benefitted from the programs were given a burger, chips and coldrink.
We wish them and all who are writing well over the #exams.
