After hitting the high, price reversed and pushed down, eventually consolidating. While it didn’t offer a continuation, the initial trade was a solid win for those who executed with precision.
GJ delivered a standout setup. It first pushed higher, giving us a small buy opportunity before running into the POI we’d been patiently waiting for. From there, price ran a perfect 1:4 risk-to-reward trade—a beautiful small trade that highlighted the importance of sticking to the plan and waiting for key levels.
GU and EU were quieter this session. Both pairs pushed up into the POIs we had marked, but unfortunately, no clear entries presented themselves. It was a great example of how sometimes the best trade is no trade—staying disciplined and waiting for ideal setups is key.

Gold was the star of the session. We waited patiently for the retrace and caught a few scalp trades on the way down to the 1-minute POI we had marked out together. As soon as price tapped the POI, it reversed sharply and ran up beautifully—currently sitting at an incredible 1:10 risk-to-reward trade! For those who held on, this one was a massive win.
US30 and NAS opened the 12 AM hourly candle (Aussie time) without a top wick and both fell into the areas we had prepped. US30 reached the POI we marked, and we took the buy from there, riding the move up perfectly. While NAS followed a similar pattern and flipped the hourly candle, it didn’t quite reach the POI, so we stayed out of that trade today.
A special note: In honor of Jimmy Carter, the NYSE markets were closed today. After wrapping up our trades, we all slept happy after a session filled with success.
