#29 Tongue twister: Betty Botter

❗️Challenge yourself:

▶️ Betty Botter bought some butter. “But”, said she, “the butter's bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter. But a bit of better butter will make my bitter batter better.” So she bought some better butter, better than the bitter butter, put it in her bitter batter and made her bitter batter better. So it was better Betty Botter bought some better butter.

Translation:
Betty Botter sariyog' sotib oldi, lekin u sariyog' bemaza ekanligini aytib "agar men uni quymog'imga solsam u meni quymog'imni bemaza qiladi, lekin bir oz yaxshiroq sariyog' meni bemaza quymog'imni yaxshiroq qiladi". Shunday qilib u bir oz yaxshiroq sariyog' sotib oldi, bemaza sariyog'idan yaxshiroq bo'lgan, uni bemaza quymog'iga soldi va bemaza quymog'ini yaxshiroq qildi. Shuning uchun Betty Botterni yaxshiroq sariyog' sotib olgani yaxshi bo'lgan.

🔘 Pronunciation – The [h] sound is always soft in English, not like the Russian [x]. Unfortunately for Uzbeks, the two are not clearly distinguished in the Uzbek language.
