Different soups as well as meat, fish and vegetable stews (=a semi-soupy dish that is cooked for a long time).

Fufu is traditionally eaten by hand.

People dip the stuff from the pot in a sauce that they can mix by themselves. This can be soya sauce (=a salty dark brown sauce made from beans), vinegar, sesame sauce, herbs, garlic, chili and many more.

The interesting part is that the soup boils constantly and people add in whatever they feel like eating. Itโ€™s a popular dish for the cold season. Of course this food is eaten with chopsticks (=sticks that East Asians use for eating).
