Some truth bombs about Cymatics (in reference to 432 hertz) and repeatability of patterns.

"No, untrue, false, full stop. There is *no* specific image for 432Hz. There is *no* image for *any* frequency. By altering the cup diameter and the fluid properties just right, we can make any frequency resonate the fluid into any desired geometry, within bounds of physical limits of the system of course. That is, if I wanted to make 27Hz (sine wave) appear as a five-fold geometric standing wave, it is possible to build a cup with the right diameter and fill it with the right fluid to make a 27Hz sine wave resonate the fluid into a 5-fold standing wave.

There is nothing special about the way a frequency appears other than that is the way that frequency may appear in that fluid in that cup. Sometimes, it can even be that an individual frequency manifests as different geometries (and may even morph between them), because that frequency is on the threshold of various “bands of resonance” for the cup/fluid system.
Please analyze Figure 12 of http://www.waterjournal.org/uploads/vol9/sheldrake/WATER.2017.10.Sheldrake.pdf .... It is attached below for your ease of viewing, and shows the geometric results of frequencies from 50Hz to 200Hz *as they appear in the medium cell they used, a cup 24.25mm in diameter*. Further, draw your attention to frequencies like 82Hz, 95Hz, 109Hz, 118Hz, 127Hz, 146Hz, 170Hz, 187Hz, which can “pop” between various geometries since they are on the threshold of various resonance bands for that particular cup and fluid system. If we change the diameter of this cup, or change the properties of the fluid within the cup, this chart of resonance bands alters completely!

The space and the medium filling the space determines how energy will interact with that system. Sometimes, that energy can manifest differently even in the same system! But, it is absolutely a fact of resonance science that a frequency can appear as any desired geometric form, depending on the cup diameter and fluid used in the experiment.

Please pardon me if I am being repetitious; I am seeing a lot of misinformation being shared about cymatics and the way a frequency looks, and I feel it necessary to clear up the misconceptions. Specifically, there is no credit to the image of the 432Hz hydroglyph appearing more coherent than the 440Hz hydroglyph. If they changed the diameter of their cup slightly smaller, or made their fluid slightly more viscous, they would have created a system where the 440Hz hydroglyph would appear more coherent than the 432Hz glyph.

I know we all have experienced this basic fact of resonance. If you hum a certain tone in an empty room you may find that it resonates and echoes better than another tone. That tone then is said to be resonant to the dimensions of that room with the specific air filling the room. Make the room more humid, or change to a smaller room, and that tone you hummed will no longer ring the room up to resonance. This is the same with liquid cymatics. If we change the space or change the medium in the space we change the way energy interacts with that space. Just because a guitar string of a certain length sounds the way it does, doesn’t mean everything of that length will make that sound when we “pluck” it. Again, this is the same situation - if we change the system, we change the bands of resonance for that system and thus we change the way frequencies appear in that system.

However, if a system is constant, the result is constant (aside from those threshold frequencies that can appear as different forms due to their location near other resonant bands). 99Hz appears as an 8-fold geometry in a 24.25mm-diameter cup of water, no matter what (see Sheldrake’s graph). The image posted here shows how an 18.4Hz sine wave signal appears in a 2-inch diameter cup of fluid that is a lab-certified blood mimicking fluid (it has all the same acoustical properties of blood but made with nontoxic materials). If I change the fluid, or change the cup diameter, this 18.4Hz sine wave signal will appear differently (if it generates a standing wave at all). The colors are from LED lights arranged in rings about 8-inches above the fluid, controlled by my Halo Light controller.
