Selections from the Jule Eisenbud collection on Ted Serios and thoughtographic photography, including the items which were included in the 2011 exhibit, Psychic Projections/Photographic Impressions: Paranormal Photographs from the Jule Eisenbud Collection on Ted Serios, presented by the Albin O. Originating mainly from the 1960s during the years of Dr. Jule Eisenbud's experimentation on psychic photographer Ted Serios, the digital collection provides an introduction to the psychic phenomenon 'thoughtography'. Serios possessed an apparent ability to place images on film with his mind using psychic energy that continues to baffle researchers and critics to this day. Ample numbers of these psychic photographs, or 'thoughtographs,' produced through extensive experimentation with Eisenbud, illustrate Serios's paranormal ability. Eisenbud, whose main field was psychiatry, maintained substantial correspondence with colleagues in the field of paranormal psychiatry as well as an ongoing correspondence with Ted Serios. Although Eisenbud's work in paranormal psychology included a variety of experimentation with different subjects, his work with Ted Serios and thoughtography is the main focus of the Eisenbud collection.

This digital collection contains all of the images produced during two experiment sessions at the Colorado Psychiatry Hospital in Denver, Colorado. The first session was held on October 4, 1964 and the second on January 2, 1965. Viewing the full run of images produced allows researchers to see the varied images that may have been created during one of the Eisenbud-Serios sessions including thoughtographs, "blackies" (underexposed images that are completely black), "whities" (overexposed images that are completely white), snapshots of the session room and/or attendees, and Serios himself, looking into the lens of the camera. Conceived dynamically, as projective geometry requires, Point and Plane represent a pair of opposites, the Point standing for utmost contraction, the Plane for utmost expansion. As such, they form a polarity of the first order. Both together constitute Space. Which sort of space this is, depends on the relationship in which they are envisaged. By positing the point as the unit from which to start, and deriving our conception of the plane from the point, we constitute Euclidean space. By starting in the manner described above, with the plane as the unit, and conceiving the point from it, we constitute polar-Euclidean space.

The realization of the reversibility of the relationship between Point and Plane leads to a conception of Space still free from any specific character. By G. Adams this space has been appositely called archetypal space, or ur-space. Both Euclidean and polar-Euclidean space are particular manifestations of it, their mutual relationship being one of metamorphosis in the Goethean sense.

Through conceiving Euclidean and polar-Euclidean space in this manner it becomes clear that they are nothing else than the geometrical expression of the relationship between gravity and levity. For gravity, through its field spreading outward from an inner centre, establishes a point-to-point relation between all things under its sway; whereas levity draws all things within its domain into common plane-relations by establishing field-conditions wherein action takes place from the periphery towards the centre. What distinguishes in both cases the plane at infinity from all other planes may be best described by calling it the all-embracing plane; correspondingly the point at infinity may be best described as the all-relating point.

In outer nature the all-embracing plane is as much the ‘centre’ of the earth’s field of levity as the all-relating point is the centre of her field of gravity. All actions of dynamic entities, such as that of the ur-plant and its subordinate types, start from this plane. Seeds, eye-formations, etc., are nothing but individual all-relating points in respect of this plane. All that springs from such points does so because of the point’s relation to the all-embracing plane. This may suffice to show how realistic are the mathematical concepts which we have here tried to build up.

Francis Nixon discovered that all life has a unique, magnetic two-way energy flow to the geophysical spot on earth where it is born. The radiation energies of the Earth form a massive network of energy waves traveling in both horizontal and vertical directions. When a fetus is subjected to these energy waves or currents, it pulls the horizontal and vertical energies into a common axis or point. The fetus then becomes magnetized to that exact geophysical point and a permanent magnetic pattern or alignment is introduced into the atomic structure of the bones as they solidify. One band has Vivaxis oriented energy waves with frequencies that correspond to those of the elements that comprise the person’s GRAVITATIONAL groups. The other band has Vivaxis oriented energy waves with fetus just prior to birth. This same dynamic is replayed throughout all creation.

Your Vivaxis can be regarded as your own personal generator, located permanently in the energy field into which you are born. Through the common origins and the atomic character of the radiations introduced into your skeletal system at the time of your birth, your central nervous system is also tuned into the same wavelength as your magnetically charged Vivaxis.[3] It is a two way energetic duplicate of yourself, recording all the changes that take place in your systems: physically, emotionally and mentally. It is like an energy exchange and balancing agent receiving and collecting energies pulsating from the elements deep within the earth as well as cosmic influences. It is believed that a disturbed Vivaxis connection can make an individual ill, but restored and vibrant, the connection can keep a person healthy. Nixon’s discovery of this phenomenon is revolutionary and explains many mysteries such as bird migration because the same dynamics apply to all creation.

Nixon found locating and linking into one’s two-way vivaxis wave train to be easy and rewarding. Before ‘channeling’ (her term for getting in alignment with your Vivaxis) it is best to neutralize your energies. When doing any neutralizing exercise, it is important to be away from other people because the energy disorder that you are giving off is detrimental to anyone around you. It is also important to do the exercise in a quiet neutral location away from any electrical equipment, preferably outdoors.
