Communing with Plants using Goethe's 7 step method

"This video is to help you gain confidence with Intuitive Plant Communication by following a simple yet hugely insightful method based on the little known scientific writings of Johann von Goethe (1749-1832) – Germany’s Bard, that guides you step by step to meeting a medicinal plant on a deep level and forming an understanding of the therapeutic indication in a fully conscious way. This is for folk who want to get to know plants but question themselves as to whether they are 'just making it up?"!
Below is a summary of introduction and the 7 steps themselves. The whole process is akin to climbing a mountain and being a different person from the experience of the journey when you come down the other side.
Pre-stage FIRST IMPRESSIONS -begins even before meeting the plant on the basis that something has attracted us to meet this particular plant or person and is said to result from an openness of ‘soul’ on first meeting - an ‘intuitive precognition’.
Stage 1. EXACT SENSE PERCEPTION is familiar to conventional science as factual information gathering i.e. of keenly observing the physical attributes of the plant. We are working in the earth element, chipping away at the facts.
Stage 2. EXACT SENSORIAL IMAGINATION is analogous with synthesis, the putting together of facts to allow appreciation of the plant or patient as a living growing being. It involves following the growth process of a plant, for example, how it looked this time last year or will look this time next year or identifying a person’s core, inherent constitution and how or why the person has deviated from that in the present time. We are moving between the facts in a fluid manner analogous to the water element.
Stage 3. GLIMPSING THE BEING This can be seen as an “Aha!” experience as something about the plant ‘clicks’ within us and follows a meditative group rebuilding of the plant from memory whilst observing any inner movement within us related to qualities and emotions eg warmth travelling to stomach area and feelings of expansion and freedom. The inspirational glimpses are akin to the quick movement of the air element.
Stage 4. BEING THE BEING is that of attaining conscious intuition or ‘becoming one with’ or ‘co-resonating’. In other words ‘being at one’ with the ‘essence’ or ‘idea’ of the plant or person eg, this plant would be useful for tight cramping in the digestive system and could help a person become open to problems relating to their solar plexus and/or issues seeming at first overwhelming and difficult to digest. The clarity and passion that accompanies this stage is working in the fire element.
Stage 5. CATCHING THE ESSENSE is concerned with condensing or capturing the idea arrived at in stage 4. This requires a further synthesis of how to best express the intention of the plant: which part could be used (root, stem, leaf, flower or fruit or mixture) to best resonate with aiding a person to reset their healing intention. A rebuilding group meditation of the study experience so far is key at this point to ground the gesture of the plant. The vibrational movement here is associated with the air element again.
Stage 6. INCARNATING THE IDEA is growing the idea or remedy into matter involving an ‘alchemical’ distillation of stages 4 & 5.
When studying plants, once a consensus on the plants’ possible medicinal use has been achieved, the decision of how to produce certain extracts or preparations from the plant are made. These are often collected and prepared on site and with active participation of the person encouraged as part of this refinement process. The form of the medicine is experimented with (eg. it could be prepared as a tincture, infusion, massage oil, essential oil, foot and hand bath, herb pillow, talisman to wear, seed to sow and grow etc.) as well as dosage and frequency of administration determined. The fluidity of moving from one idea to the next brings us back to the water element.

What is Life | Bruce Copen
"Life, as we well know, is a combination of radiational and energy forces combined with chemical, polarity and cosmic reaction. Each one of us is a gigantic universe within ourselves-having a polarity (i.e. positive and negative properties), Radio-active, Magnetic, Electric, Chemical and Fluidic forces. As such we are prone to certain radiation forces that are measured on the present-day Radionic instruments.

Polarity & Inner Knowing | R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz
"This 'simultaneity of opposite states' plays a great part in Schwaller's understanding of Egyptian hieroglyphics. It characterizes what he calls symbolique, a way of holding together the object of sense perception and the content of inner knowing, in a kind of creative polarity. When the Egyptians saw the hieroglyph of a bird, he argued, they knew it was a sign for the actual, individual creature, but they also knew it was a symbol of the 'cosmic function' that the creature exemplified--flight--as well as all the myriad characteristics associated with it. Hieroglyphics did not merely designate; they evoked. As he wrote in Symbol and the Symbolic (40), 'the observation of a simultaneity of mutually contradictory states . . . demonstrates the existence of two forms of intelligence'--an idea the early twentieth century philosopher Alfred North Whitehead would discuss, with many similarities to Schwaller's thought, in his book, Symbolism, Its Meaning and Effect (1927)."

2D, Ethers & Counterspace
Steiner describes a two-dimensional realm that manifests in three distinct contexts: first, as picture-worlds that emerge when consciousness reaches the Imaginative stage, where the etheric realm operates in two dimensions rather than physical space's three (GA 227, GA 10, GA 320); second, as a "counter-space" or "anti-space" that appears two-dimensional outwardly but is inwardly structured as two third dimensions, one positive and one negative, representing an inversion of normal three-dimensional space (GA 323); and third, as the inherent structure of human feelings, which exist not in three spatial dimensions like physical objects, but as two-dimensional "shadow-pictures" projected from the astral body onto the physical plane (GA 276, GA 213).
'On occasion Steiner reported that ether is essentially two-dimensional, so we must be careful not to identify 'ether" with 'counterspace' which is three dimensional. That is to say that there are no two-dimensional counterspaces, but so far we have not concerned with them;" p 69 N. Thomas - Space and Counterspace
"In the imaginative world, there, you dwell only in two dimensions.
What I am going to say next will seem very daring to some, — nonetheless, it is my experience. In reality, the situation looks like this: When you function in the objective world with healthy common sense, your orientation is derived only from the three dimensions of space. The first dimension is inherent in your own upright posture, the second in your left-right dimension, and the third in the focusing of your eyes. You do not dwell in these three dimensions when you are in the imaginative world. There, you dwell only in two dimensions. If I had to locate these dimensions in space, I would have to take a vertical section through the human being. In Imagination, we can speak only of the dimensions of up and down and right and left. When you move in the imaginative world, these are the only dimensions you carry with you. For this reason I cannot say that they relate to a coordinate system in space. I cannot define them in terms of Euclidean geometry. To our perception, however, they are real. It makes no sense to talk about three dimensions in the context of the imaginative world. We must realize that we are dealing with an experience of two-dimensionality, an experience we cannot have in the objective world. Two dimensions are a reality in the imaginative world, and a single dimension is a reality in the inspired world. All Inspirations move vertically, if indeed we want to assign them a location in space. Intuition is point-like, but it to cannot be referred to a coordinate system. In these higher realms, we cannot revert to Euclidean space."

Counterspace vs Scalar | Eric Dollard
Eric Dollard draws a deep contrast between counterspace and scalar in his electrical theory. Counterspace, as he defines it, is a conjugate, non-Euclidean domain where electrical phenomena take place. Scalar describes something different: a mode of behavior characterized by non-directional, longitudinal electrical potential. Dollard never merges these concepts, never defines counterspace in dimensional terms, and never treats scalar as a kind of space.
The two concepts do hold a relationship to each other though. Electrical action occurs in counterspace. That action is scalar in nature. So in Dollard's conception, scalar behavior manifests through counterspace, but the two remain distinct. Counterspace provides the domain. Scalar describes what happens within it.
To paraphrase some of Eric Dollard's Comments on Counterspace and Scalar:
Counterspace described as conjugate to physical space
– Theory of Wireless Power
Counterspace described as not subject to Euclidean geometry
– Theory of Wireless Power
Electrical action described as occurring in counterspace rather than in matter
– Tesla and Dielectricity (Theory of Wireless Power)
Electricity described (via Heaviside) as existing in counterspace and involving imaginary vectors
– Oliver Heaviside and Vector Analysis (Theory of Wireless Power)
Counterspace described as orthogonal to physical space
– Theory of Wireless Power
Counterspace described as non-material space
– Tesla-related lecture (Theory of Wireless Power)
Scalar described as having no direction
– Steinmetz and AC Theory (Theory of Wireless Power)
Electricity described as scalar
– Fundamental Electrical Definitions (Theory of Wireless Power)
Scalar waves described as longitudinal waves
– Tesla and Longitudinal Waves (Theory of Wireless Power)
Dielectric described as scalar in nature
– Dielectric Phenomena and Capacitance (Theory of Wireless Power)
Scalar electricity described as potential
– Potential, Pressure, and Electrical Force (Theory of Wireless Power)
Magnetism described as vectorial while electricity is described as scalar
– Magnetic vs. Electric Phenomena (Theory of Wireless Power)
Scalar electricity described as non-radiative
– Radiation vs. Conduction and Longitudinal Modes (Theory of Wireless Power)

Eric Dollard Defining Scalar
" ...for those who’s minds have been polluted by the prevalent quantum goddess reality:
Let us turn to the Heaviside Equation which is the most fundamental equations in all of Electrical Engineering:
(RG + XB) + j (XG – RB) = propagation constant squared
where:
R resistance in Ohms
G conductance in Siemens
X reactance in Henrys per second
B susceptance in Farads per second
Therefore:
RG is the scalar or DC component that is NOT A WAVE,
XB is the longitudinal or AC component and is an alternating electric wave
XG is the transverse or OC component and is a forward moving oscillating electric wave. RB is the transverse or OC component and is a reverse moving oscillating electric wave
This equation allows for all electrical conditions in time and or space and combinations thereof. The example equation is the dimensions of time (see: Steinmetz Theory of Transient Electric Waves and Phenomenon and also my paper: Symbolic Representation of the Generalized Electric Wave.)
Example:
The air in the room; the room is filled with air and has atmospheric pressure of 2998 mB, your stereo is blasting away, the speakers are creating longitudinal waves having length and frequency and exert a oscillating force centered on 2998 mB (+ or – 10 mB)
RG is the air pressure, a scalar
XB is the sound of the stereo, a longitudinal wave
XG = RB, thus no transverse waves exist (XG – RB) = ZERO
Hence (RG + XB) is what is going on in the room, the disinformers have convinced you that this whole quantity (RB + XB) is scalar, RG is the only scalar component. It is DC and has NO FREQUENCY, no WAVELENGTH and thus NO WAVE! SCALER = NO WAVE - GET IT???
If people don’t get this fundamental concept – my time is better spent talking to my pet Coyote… I have nothing further to say…" - Eric Dollard

Revealing Formative Forces: Pfeiffer Chromatography and Sensitive Crystallization Methods
Between 1922 and 1923, Ehrenfried Pfeiffer worked with Rudolf Steiner at the Goetheanum in Switzerland to develop methods making visible the organizing forces of life that conventional chemistry could not detect.
living organisms possess etheric forces operating beyond conventional physical and chemical properties, organizing matter into characteristic patterns when organic substances combine with specific reagents under controlled conditions. Four etheric formative forces work together with physical elements:
- Warmth ether dilates and creates space
- Chemical ether separates and orders substance into members and parts
- Light ether creates space perceived as size in time
- Life ether generates globality represented as age
Crystallization processes become sensitive to these influences producing alterations of form independent of chemical and physical nature of admixtures. The organic nature, quality, vitality, state of health or disease, and evolutionary history of tested objects arrange themselves either in orderly or chaotic patterns. Crystal arrangements on glass plates correspond to definite laws where position of centers relative to center of gravity and imaginary crossed axes enables locating corresponding symptoms in organisms, functioning as topographical maps revealing not just that disease exists but where it resides.
The chromatography method uses circular Whatman No. 4 filter paper fifteen centimeters in diameter impregnated with half-percent silver nitrate solution. Soil samples of five grams undergo extraction using fifty milliliters of one percent sodium hydroxide solution through orbital shaking at 220 revolutions per minute at intervals of zero, fifteen, and sixty minutes. After five hours settling, researchers apply 1.3 milliliters of supernatant to paper center, producing colored zones with radial patterns through capillary diffusion. The crystallization method employs copper chloride solution at five to twenty percent concentration mixed with diluted organic samples including blood at one to six hundred ratio, poured onto circular glass plates creating layers less than one millimeter deep. Both methods require crystallization chambers that are:
- Vibration-free with shock-absorbed tables suspended on link chains with microscrews for leveling
- Temperature controlled at 28 to 30 degrees Celsius using low-heat thirty-watt heaters
- Humidity regulated between 35 and 50 percent through ventilation or silica gel desiccant
- Free from drafts, dust, and chemical contamination with insulated double walls
Crystallization occurs over fourteen to eighteen hours. Glass plates require washing in sodium carbonate solution, rinsing in hydrochloric acid and distilled water, drying without lint, and handling only at edges to prevent surface contamination. Copper chloride uses Kahlbaum or Merck special crystallization grade consisting of fine needles, with clustered tablets or crusts removed as unsuitable modifications. Solutions at blood temperature undergo careful mixing by rotation rather than shaking before pouring.
Pine seed testing provided first compelling evidence when samples received from a forester without context produced either washed-out interrupted encrusted formations or delicate symmetrically radiating structures from single centers. Pfeiffer reported one tree was stunted, the other healthy. Return mail photographs confirmed crooked pine with stunted crown versus well-developed pine with full crown, with crystallization patterns predicting tree health precisely. Beechnut samples producing disconnected asymmetrical patterns with glittering winglike forms came from trees whose roots stood in dried land following water table changes, while symmetrical single-center patterns came from sound trees, confirmed by forester reports.

Medical diagnostics across more than 30,000 crystallizations including several thousand blood samples showed tuberculosis producing Maltese Cross forms with crystals narrowing at points then broadening into wings surrounded by hollow spaces, with location on plate indicating disease location in body, laryngeal tuberculosis at center of gravity, pulmonary tuberculosis in lung zone quadrants, renal tuberculosis near kidney points. Cancer displayed two-winged centers on base lines with fine needle crystals radiating peripherally in 109 cases with one hundred percent accuracy. Inflammatory diseases including angina presented radial forms from central points. Sclerosis showed gothic arch formations in curved groups. Professor Trumpp at Munich University conducted blind testing comparing crystallization diagnoses made without patient knowledge to hospital reports, finding essential agreement in all details including localization with no complete failures. Extracts from surgical specimens including tubercular lung tissue and round-celled sarcoma of stomach confirmed patterns whether testing blood or tissue directly.
Soil studies found biodynamic vineyard soils three hundred feet from conventional vineyards with identical decomposed granite composition displayed balanced symmetrical organized patterns while conventional soils showed disturbed formations. Chromatogram zones correlated positively with organic matter, microbial biomass carbon, acid phosphatase, beta glucosidase, and fluorescein diacetate hydrolase activities. Soil samples from Hopi Reservation corn fields and Taos Pueblo dance floors produced powerful organized crystallizations despite seemingly barren land with little vegetation. Early lactation milk produced concise dynamically curved structures with fine formations between needle patterns while late lactation milk showed decreased formative capacity through network-like structures with reduced dynamics, reflecting exactly what calves need at different developmental stages. Mineral water from glass bottles with polyethylene caps displayed living multiform patterns with diverse eddy species comparable to natural spring water, while PET bottle water showed disturbed patterns with chemical analysis confirming plasticizers, antimony, and contaminants at low concentrations within legal limits but representing avoidable quality deterioration. Fresh orange juice produced robust dendritic structures while refrigerated samples displayed contracted patterns and frozen samples showed greater contraction with measurably decreased formative capacity.
Pfeiffer emphasized in 1936 that his original intention was not proving formative forces existed but developing imaginative cognition, worrying the method was being estranged from its original spirit when medical applications demanded purely analytical paths of proof. The evidence accumulated nevertheless through thousands of crystallizations, hundreds of verified cases, independent validation, consistent patterns, and reproducible results across decades and multiple laboratories, offering a window into organizing principles of life.

How Astrology Works: Process-Relational Foundations with Whitehead, Jung, & Plato | Kent Bye
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsiw7AiHt2k
Alfred North Whitehead's process philosophy provides metaphysical foundations for astrology. Bye argues astrologers intuitively understand process as dynamic unfolding of time through cycles, oppositions, squares, and triads, yet most people view reality through static concrete objects. Whitehead's process philosophy offers event ontology made up of fractally nested processes where actual occasions comprise drops of experience and contrast is secured by pulses of emotion. This makes human experience the basis of reality with experience extending all the way down. Atoms have their own experience with lower degrees of freedom while nebulae potentially possess more degrees of freedom than humans. His metaphysics shifts from substance to process, nouns to verbs, things to happenings, discrete individuality to active relations, separateness to relationality and interdependence, fixity to innovation and novelty, surface change to fundamental change, eternity to temporality, passivity to active participation, and being to becoming.
Astrologers already use event ontology through natal charts showing moments in time and tracking how the unfolding cosmos relates to personal journeys through transits and progressions. This understanding maps onto the hermetic principle of as above so below as fractally nested processes unfolding at self similarity across scales from big bang to geological time to human lifespans.
Process philosophies applied to physics require ontological dualism of res potentia (potential reality following Heisenberg) and res extensa (extended physical reality corresponding to Descartes), differing from classic Cartesian dualism by understanding these as mutually implicative ontological extants explaining quantum theory challenges. Context for succession depends on both boolean logic of actualization where law of excluded middle applies with truth statements known as true or false, plus logic of potentialities using multivalued and non boolean logic. Non boolean logic applies to archetypal realm and boolean logic applies to physical reality. Hans Primas argues full understanding of time requires non boolean structure since modern physics proves description of matter requires theory with non boolean logical structure. Primas identifies five types of time: generic time, logarithmic time with scale, logarithmic frequency with scale, sequential time, and nonsequential time. Sequential time (Kronos) measures objectively. Nonsequential time (Kairos) operates diachronically where cycle beginning happens in one moment but continues at another moment not immediately following it, with no past and no future where persistence of moments have resonance across different moments creating symmetry with no causality, memory, or orientation.
Jung provided seven explanations of astrology: hermetic as above so below sympathies principle, psychological projection via collective unconscious, divination with synchronistic lucky hits, naturalistic measurable celestial phenomena, qualitative dimension of time symbolized by horoscope, Pythagorean all is number transcendental numerical archetypes, and acausal synchronicity between heavens and humans.
Tarnas argues astrology is not concretely predictive but archetypally predictive, focused on precise discernment of archetypal dynamics and their complex unfolding in time. Archetypes cannot be reduced to simple formula being vessels we can never empty and never fill, persisting throughout ages requiring interpreting everyone anew as imperishable elements of unconscious that change their shape continually. Gödel incompleteness mathematically proved any formal system is limited with choice between consistency or completeness, meaning for astrology there exists plurality of different techniques and house systems with no single foundation.

Elements map phenomenology applied to experiential design. Fire element represents active presence with agency and participatory engagement. Air element represents mental and social presence through language and collective relational context. Water element represents emotional presence through cinematic unfolding of time building and releasing consonance and dissonance cycles. Earth element represents embodied and environmental presence through sensory experiences in architecture, theater, dance, virtual and augmented reality. Concrescence describes process where many become one and increase by one. Think of watching a sunset where you inherit past moments of color and light, anticipate how it will unfold, and feel emotional synthesis of the experience. This integrates past moments as objective data through physical pole while anticipating future possibilities through mental pole with ingression of pure potentials in eternal objects and archetypal realm. Creative lures and subjective aim mediate where acting on decisions limits possibilities through negative prehensions. Prehension feels the past through water element, grasping and synthesizing to achieve satisfaction which becomes superject inherited as objective data in future moments.
