The Universal Vibrational Spectrum identifies 12 distinct bands of life force energy, each with specific functions across physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. When both needles pointed the same way at horizontal orientation, the pendulum would only detect waves moving horizontally from the direction the red pointers indicated. If needles pointed the same direction vertically, then the pendulum would only detect waves moving vertically from the direction indicated. Either upward or downward moving.
De Belizal and Chaumery identified relative toxicity of waves in each band by their interaction with Electrical and Magnetic insulators. They categorized them as Electric and Magnetic waves. These shouldn't be thought of as identical to Electrical and Magnetic components in modern physics. The Electric Wave was found not to cross electrical insulators such as porcelain and Bakelite, whereas it did penetrate iron shielding.
