Ether, God & Devil - Cosmic Superimposition | Wilhelm Reich
Orgone energy is the fundamental cosmic principle animating all existence. This energy fills what classical physics wrongly called empty void. It exists universally throughout space, penetrating all matter while flowing in perpetual wavy and pulsatory motions. Unlike mystical concepts that place consciousness outside nature, orgone accounts for the living qualities observed in organisms and the broader cosmos. It serves as the source of all observable energy manifestations, from static electricity to heat generation. The energy transmits excitation at light speed while remaining fundamentally transparent to matter. It exhibits blue, blue-green, or blue-gray coloration in visible form, changing from foglike to raylike patterns when excited. The lumination it produces is cold, distinguishing it sharply from light generated by electrical current or chemical combustion. Orgone maintains cohesion within atomic structures and living systems, generates heat through reflection by metallic surfaces or concentration within matter, and operates through dual pulsatory functions of expansion and contraction. It flows directionally, typically west to east in planetary motion, manifests as static electricity in atmospheric conditions, and concentrates in specialized accumulator structures. Critically, orgone demonstrates no net energy loss through metabolic cycling, contradicting the second law of thermodynamics by flowing from lower to higher energy systems rather than dissipating downward. The energy responds to excitation and stimulation from matter and other energy forms, functions independently of external heat sources for its motion, and moves in spiral and vortex patterns throughout cosmic systems, with visible lumination specifically in blue spectrum ranges.
In darkroom observations lasting 15 to 30 minutes, orgone becomes visible as bluish-gray foglike formations. These shift into violet luminating points and then yellowish-white rays when excited. They're not separate types but rather the same energy under different conditions. Metal surfaces, living organisms, and electromagnetic fields trigger the transition from slow, misty patterns to rapid streaks. When orgone reflects off metal or concentrates within matter, organisms, or planets, it generates measurable temperature differences; sometimes reaching 15 to 20 degrees Celsius in sunlight despite producing no inherent heat itself. Living organisms maintain their energy levels by drawing from the surrounding orgone ocean at lower energy states while discharging excess energy mechanically. This metabolic cycle of charging from external sources, maintaining internal capacity levels, and discharging surplus creates the dynamic equilibrium that distinguishes alive from dead matter. When orgone motion stops, capacity levels drop, tissues lose cohesion, and disintegration into bions and bacterial forms inevitably follows. Static electricity in the atmosphere functions as a specific orgone manifestation, with discharge rates varying inversely to atmospheric concentration. Orgone accumulators concentrate atmospheric energy through layered arrangements of nonmetallic exterior and metal interior materials, creating measurable potentials demonstrable through slower electroscope discharge rates and sustained temperature differences.

Cosmic superimposition operates as the universal creative principle governing all natural phenomena. When two or more orgone energy streams approach each other, they don't simply pass through one another. Instead, they interact through superimposition, the same mechanism observable in sexual reproduction between organisms. Two independent streams curve inward, intertwine, and merge into a unified, more concentrated energy system. Spiral galaxies demonstrate this principle visibly, with multiple arms streaming toward a central condensing core in patterns matching what orgone superimposition predicts. Observable systems like Messier 101, NGC 1042, and NGC 1566 display four, five, or more arms uniting at the galactic center where massive superimposition occurs. The approaching streams don't travel in straight lines; each curves toward the meeting point, creating the characteristic spiral configuration. The aurora borealis presents observable evidence of two specific cosmic orgone streams intersecting in Earth's upper atmosphere, stabilizing at approximately 31 degrees northern declination. This represents the exact arithmetic midpoint between the equatorial plane at 0 degrees and the galactic plane at 62 degrees. Northern aurora streamers approach along these plane coordinates, meet at the ring position, and produce characteristic lumination. Hurricanes function as terrestrial demonstrations of superimposition mechanics, with naval radarscope photographs clearly showing two distinct arms approaching, curving inward, and merging into a central eye. This matches the superimposition pattern predicted by orgone theory.
Human observers play an essential role in orgone detection because organismic bioenergy within sense organs must resonate with external orgone phenomena. Severely armored individuals with depleted orgone charge struggle to perceive darkroom luminescence, experience difficulties detecting heat sensations, and fail producing lumination in gas tubes. Character structure and biophysical condition of the researcher constitute decisive instruments rather than inconvenient variables. This fundamentally reshapes natural research methodology. Human reasoning itself functions as an extension of natural cosmic processes. The capacity to perceive functional connections between seemingly disparate phenomena reflects orgone energy flowing through the nervous system in patterns identical to those organizing galactic systems and living organisms. Functional thinking doesn't arbitrarily connect unrelated facts; it recognizes actual functional connections already present in nature. The discovery of cosmic orgone energy followed this trajectory: studying orgastic plasma pulsation in living cells led to recognizing the same superimposition principle operating in atmospheric phenomena, galactic formation, and celestial mechanics. This consistency suggests that thought itself represents mass-free orgone energy organized within the nervous system, perceiving and reflecting the organization of orgone energy in the universe at large.

Energetic Processes - Interaction Between Matter Volumes 1 & 2|Peter Moscow
Energetic Processes spans two volumes of revolutionary work in psychotronics and radionics, presenting decades of research into how consciousness interacts with matter and energy. Nineteen researchers from the United States Psychotronics Association trace the field's history back to the 1882 London Society for Psychical Research, building on Soviet biophysical innovations. Their work explores zero-point energy engineering through post-Cartesian unified-field perspectives rooted in idealist monism.
Impedance crystals emerge as living energy system guides with over thirty categories of etheric crystalline shapes. These structures restrict individual awareness through disruptive frequency interference with chakra systems and meridians. Words themselves operate as both ultimate healer and weapon, a principle examined through linguistic architecture. Geriatric radionics applications offer complementary treatment pathways for age-related conditions. Remote viewing and psychokinesis phenomena gain experimental support through Robert Pavlita's documented devices, which demonstrated polarized bioplasmic energy capable of motor action, solute precipitation, plant growth stimulation or destruction, and insect killing. Organisms exposed to negative energy exhibited paralysis and life endangerment. Moray King's methodology establishes zero-point energy technology fundamentals, while Eldon Byrd's theoretical framework integrates scalar electromagnetics. Glen Rein's investigations reveal quantum non-locality in non-classical electromagnetic fields through inverse-square law exemptions for consciousness-linked phenomena. Andrija Puharich's transdermal electrotherapy produces highly efficient water electrolysis with anomalous organic molecule formation and documented neoplastic treatment in mice. Radionic devices evolved from Dr. Albert Abrams' variable stepped rheostat instrumentation to contemporary designs incorporating variable inductors, capacitors, quartz crystals, magnetic coils, and Malcolm Rae magnetic-ink coded circuit-patterned cards. Peter Moscow demonstrated radionics as complementary management for inoperable low-grade astrocytomas. Subtle energy devices enhanced crops, confirmed through Andrew Michrowski's New Brunswick forest experiments. Extremely low frequency magnetic fields coupled with electroencephalographic entrainment revealed psychotronic warfare potential. Thomas Valone examined the physics and consciousness study of opposites, while Beverly Rubik investigated volitional healer effects on bacterial systems through intentional modulation. Thomas Bearden's overunity electromagnetic power systems permit energy output exceeding conventional input through theoretical electromagnetic rearrangement.

Marcel Vogel's water structuring protocols employ double-terminated quartz crystals with variable pyramid angles matching individual vibrational notes. Reverse osmosis water containing 0.01 percent silica as silicylic acid undergoes resonant transfer through right-handed spiral rotation, generating ultraviolet spectrophotometric measurable alterations and pH variations confirmed through Cary Model 5 spectrophotometry and microspectrophotometry under polarized light phase-contrast microscopy. The resulting silica crystallization patterns emerged strikingly distinct. Ron Carlson documented Vogel's IBM legacy, including magnetic hard disk coating development and liquid crystal systems alongside pioneering man-plant experiments using Wheatstone Bridge resistance comparison. These experiments showed plant responsiveness to thought independent of inverse-square law distance factors. Andrew Michrowski's quantum vitality investigations proceeded alongside Beverly Rubik's biophoton emissions research, which indicated cellular communication through ultraweak biological light independent of perturbation type. DNA involvement appears through chromatin conformational changes correlating with light emission intensity. Popp's coherent electromagnetic field hypothesis proposes biophotons trapped and reemitted by DNA physical resonance, producing light with synchronized coherence. Jon Klimo addressed consciousness in emerging paradigm science toward idealist paraphysics formulations. Wilfred Marsden identified the human body as a reliable indicator of non-local effects. Ruth Drown's radionic photographic imaging captured living organism energetic signatures, while George Walter De La Warr enhanced fundamental radiation detection instrumentation. Beverly Coleman investigated subtle radiations underlying homeopathic and Bach flower remedy efficacy. Larry Dossey analyzed prayer physiological mechanisms. Christopher Bird examined Antoine Priore's therapeutic electromagnetic apparatus operating within etheric and astral domains. Robert Beck proposed non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical in vivo methodologies for human immunodeficiency virus neutralization through bioenergetic mechanisms. Peter Moscow documented radionic reversal of congenital blindness manifestations. William Bauer addressed electrical pain management for severe head and neck malignancy using transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation applications. Ellen Kamhi employed vibrational medicine utilizing electromagnetic and subtle energy diagnostics as adjunct clinical tools. Thomas Valone demonstrated Cleve Backster effect applications through galvanic skin response measurement of plant and cellular consciousness via nonlocal biocommunication. Robert Beutlich developed parallel worlds temporal theory frameworks. Glen Rein identified biological effects of conscious intention on bacterial growth patterns and DNA conformation. J.G. Gallimore conceptualized ether as organizational energy substratum.
These investigations rest on theoretical foundations that reshape how we understand reality itself. Consciousness integrates across therapeutic medicine, agricultural biotechnology, military applications, and fundamental physics through idealist monism, which permits observer-dependent reality creation. Quantum mechanical foundations enable psychic phenomena existence through Bell's theorem closing loopholes in local realism. Bohm's holographic implicate-explicate order cosmology embeds information throughout reality's fabric. Aharonov-Bohm effects demonstrate electromagnetic potential primacy over field magnitudes, while Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox and hidden variables resolutions support nonlocality. Wheeler-Feynman absorber theory indicates reciprocal time-domain interactions. Fourier transform waveform decomposition enables frequency-domain universal embedding, whereby any complex phenomenon decomposes into fundamental frequency constituents. These foundations permit systems producing output exceeding input through vacuum energy coupling mechanisms grounded in negative energy emission principles. Instrumentation development made detection of previously imperceptible subtle energy matrices possible. Radionic devices employ variable resistance scaling. Quartz crystal information storage systems undergo modification via operator signatures and photographs through Omega Four and Five radionic instrumentation. Kirlian corona photography detects bioplasma fields through high-voltage electrical corona interaction producing iron-filing-like patterns. The Egely Wheel measures vitality through rotational response sensitivity. Electronic muscle testers coupled with galvanic skin response monitoring detect alpha state consciousness correlated with healer dominant brainwave modality. Spectrophotometric analysis quantifies ultraviolet absorption and pH variations in structured water samples. Wheatstone Bridge plant electrode measurement reveals thought-induced bioelectric response. Polarized light phase-contrast microscopy visualizes crystalline silica structuring patterns. Together, these technologies form an integrated measurement framework for investigating consciousness, matter, and energy interactions at scales previously inaccessible to conventional scientific instrumentation.

The Evolution of Machine Intelligence | Terence McKenna, Ralph Abraham & Rupert Sheldrake
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLUcDfupDaA
Terence McKenna argues that as our understanding of genetic machinery deepens and our ability to manipulate at atomic and molecular levels advances, we face the possible emergence of a superintelligence. Clear thinking can be mathematically formalized through symbolic logic and Boolean algebra, which creates a bridge between human thought and calculating machinery since programming itself is driven by formal mathematical logic rules. Life itself can be digitally defined. Humans are information ultimately, expressible as long strings of codons that specify amino acids, with life resulting from programs run on ribosomal hardware. Vast portions of human activity already operate under artificial intelligence control, including petroleum extraction rates, tanker filling, oil refinery operations, gold and platinum price setting, and inventory control. Most significantly, humans no longer design machines conventionally but rather define operational parameters for machines that then solve problems through methods unavailable to humans. The latest chip architecture is determined entirely by machines at the microphysical level.
Ralph Abraham challenges these foundational assumptions, arguing that equating clear thinking with mathematical logic and defining intelligence primarily as a rational, left-brain function excludes art, ethics, religion, the body, and participatory experience. If the brain functions as a computer, it would be a quantum computer operating through quantum logic rather than digital computing. Intelligence can't be adequately modeled through cognition alone, and purely information-based systems couldn't achieve power over human existence. An alternative future exists where humans and machines evolve together in codependence rather than the machine dominating. Ethics, moral sense, altruism, and love represent dominant factors in evolution that can't be reduced to information processing. Real intelligence involves jumps to higher perspectives where information integrates in new ways, not merely the accumulation and transmission of more information through systems like the worldwide web.
Rupert Sheldrake expands the discussion by noting that machines function as advanced prosthetic devices through which humans are fundamentally shaped. Media determine human form and agenda in ways we often don't recognize. Virtual reality isn't new; since humans crowded into cities, they've engaged in progressively deeper relationships with mental offspring and imaginative empowerment. The only difference now is that virtual reality operates through light rather than physical materials like stucco, glass, steel, and clay. Artificial intelligence itself serves as the great lantern lighting the road ahead, reshaping politics, psychology, and human relationships far more than any factor since the establishment of language. The worldwide web functions to unite independent spirits and intelligences into a universal mind possessing higher intelligence than present social order, representing a cyborg partnership between human and machine in essential cooperation. Complex systems produce unexpected forms of novelty, and discussing these possibilities today may actually prevent humanity from becoming obsolete through high-tech systems that could emerge from oversight.

The Biological, Water & Psychotronic Research of Andrija K. Puharich
Puharich's earliest significant work concerned hearing restoration in deaf patients, developed collaboratively with dentist Joseph Lawrence beginning in the 1950s. They created apparatus producing amplitude-modulated alternating current at carrier frequencies around 20 kHz with audio-frequency modulation between 20 and 10,000 Hz applied through circular electrodes positioned at the stylomastoid foramen. Optimal word recognition occurred at 20 kHz frequencies where the half-power bandwidth approximated 3 kHz, transmitting roughly 1.5 × 10^7 bits per second to the auditory nerve, comparable to normal hearing's 6 × 10^7 bits per second. When electrodes energized skin, stroking initiated half-wave rectification of the carrier signal, creating 8 Hz pulses through keratin alpha-helix protein interactions involving hydrogen bonding in the COHN set (carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen atoms). This formed semi-conducive barriers allowing the modulated signal to bypass conventional ear pathways entirely. The patents awarded across multiple nations from 1959 to 1970 demonstrated that deaf patients could recognize words and speech after two months of daily training using transdermal electrode sweeping with pure tones from 20 Hz to 10,000 Hz modulating 30-50 kHz carriers. The same technology proved effective for blood anticoagulation therapy in artificial heart devices tested with New York University Medical Center collaborators.
From his hearing research observations emerged Puharich's water-splitting electrochemistry work, his most widely recognized contribution. U.S. Patent 4,394,230, issued July 19, 1983, described apparatus decomposing water through alternating current electrolysis at 600 Hz (±5 Hz) modulated by audio-frequency sidebands between 20-200 Hz applied to coaxial electrodes within 0.1540 molar sodium chloride solution at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature. Precision measurements at inputs of 98.8-100 milliwatts over 30-minute intervals consistently produced approximately 10.80 cubic centimeters hydrogen and 5.40 cubic centimeters oxygen, averaging 91.3 percent efficiency compared to theoretical Gibbs free energy requirements of 56.620 kilocalories per mole. The theory postulated that amplitude-modulated sidebands generated water molecule displacement amplitudes approximately 1 Ångstrom, approximating hydrogen atom diameter and destabilizing molecular bonding. The coaxial electrode geometry positioned copper center electrode surrounded by iron annular electrode within porous ceramic insulation, engineered to shift the water molecule's tetrahedral geometry from ground state oxygen-hydrogen bond angle of 104 degrees toward sp3 hybridized 109.28 degrees at optimal resonance. This water electrolysis research led directly to biochemical origin-of-life investigations. Electromagnetic treatment of aqueous solutions containing sodium, chloride, hydrogen, oxygen, copper, and iron catalysts produced microscopic biological forms exhibiting reversible electron flow in terminal respiratory chains. When nitrogen supplied, normal oxidative phosphorylation occurred; when supplied D-glucose 6-phosphate, electron flow reversed toward chlorophyll production resembling plant photosynthesis. These observations connected to cancer biology through collaborations with microscopist Gaston Naessens, who identified ultra-microscopic somatids in cancerous tissue and human blood. Puharich hypothesized malignant transformation represented pathological oxidative metabolism reversal. Collaborative ozone-injection trials on cancerous mouse tumors achieved complete tumor dissolution and restored animal health, findings presented at the 1983 International Ozone Association Congress.

The third major research domain involved psychotronic phenomena and extremely low frequency (ELF) magnetic field effects on biological systems. Arkgnosis research conducted 1950-1956 measured telepathic ESP performance in Faraday cage enclosures, documenting statistically significant increases in extrasensory perception scores during electromagnetically controlled conditions. Puharich identified 7.82 Hz as Earth's natural geomagnetic resonance frequency, correlating this with nuclear magnetic resonance measurements of hydrogen atom spin-spin coupling in DNA. Deviations from 8 Hz optimal frequency triggered uncontrolled DNA replication: 6 Hz continuous exposure produced cardiac palpitations, tension headaches, bradycardia, psychological depression through norepinephrine suppression; 11-15 Hz exposure elicited manic and riotous behavior through adrenal overstimulation; 18 Hz exposure produced physiological effects equivalent to 20 milligrams dexedrine through elevated cell division and disrupted amino acid sequencing in peptide synthesis yielding mutagenic formations; 20-25 Hz exposure induced cancer in mice over two months. His unified theoretical framework proposed consciousness operated through ELF-modulated proton precession in DNA and water-glia interfaces, with direct brain perception and psychokinetic phenomena occurring through coherent ELF field interactions between biological systems. The Teslar wrist-watch device utilized 8.00 Hz magnetic field generation through Möbius-loop iron oxide coils designed to mimic natural healer effects, producing documented improvements in bone fracture healing, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal symptoms, jet lag, and hypertension. Faraday cage experimentation demonstrated subjects could precognize cosmic ray pulses 120 seconds before detection through resonant electromagnetic coupling. His proposal unified healing, cancer, consciousness, and energy transduction as manifestations of coherent electromagnetic regulation operating through magnetic monopole structures within proton systems, suggesting that quantum imaging revealed magnetic monopoles and antimonopoles residing within DNA and the proton itself, providing the fundamental information alphabet organizing biological function.

Whitehead on the Ingression of Novel Form: Toward a New Formal Causality in the Life Sciences | Matt Seagull
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV3JKIYcMLw
Seagull's presentation works through Michael Levin's bioelectric research using Whitehead's process philosophy as a conceptual framework. Levin's experiments show something striking: alter the bioelectric fields guiding embryological development and you can profoundly reshape resulting anatomy. Eyes appear on tadpole tails. Tissue fragments reorganize into novel motile collectives. Cells, it turns out, participate in what Levin terms a "platonic morphospace," a structured realm of possibilities from which organisms draw forms evolution never selected. This challenges genetic determinism fundamentally. DNA doesn't specify every coordinate of cellular placement; instead, organisms draw from a larger space of morphogenetic possibility. Seagull affirms Levin's core claim that genetic reductionism misses something essential about development. But he pushes back on Levin's metaphor of organisms as "thin user interfaces" to disembodied patterns. That framing risks making patterns the true agents while relegating organisms to passive terminals. The solution lies in keeping organisms at the center of agency. Whitehead's metaphysics of concretence provides this framework. An actual occasion integrates inherited physical past with conceptual entertaining of unrealized potentials through evaluative decision, producing something genuinely novel. Eternal objects function as pure potentials; they don't act independently. They require agential decisions from actual occasions to enter history. When you treat patterns as agents, you collapse a crucial polarity between potentiality and actuality, stripping the cosmos of genuine novelty. Possibilities aren't imposed on organisms; they're felt and chosen. This matters concretely for understanding development. Bioelectric fields, morphogen gradients, and tissue tensions constitute the medium where organismic aims operate. DNA provides functional constraints but doesn't compute coordinates. Organisms actively metabolize information through covariance with their environment, bringing virtual possibilities into play relative to what matters in their neighborhood. Cosmology studies contingent patterns within the present cosmic epoch while metaphysics seeks categorical conditions that enable such patterns. Development proceeds from wholes differentiating into parts, not parts assembled into wholes.
Levin's morphospace functions not as a separate realm exerting control but as the conceptual pole of concretence accessed through organisms' felt decision-making. Eternal objects arrive in patterned constellations called abstractive hierarchies. Possibilities hang together in covariant webs possessing experiential depth and historical weight; perceiving green presupposes blue, yellow, light, and darkness in the background. Mathematical truths emerge through creative interplay of discovery and invention rather than existing as finished systems, and biological forms work similarly. They arise through organisms actualizing patterns from open fields of potential, graded by aesthetic and ethical sense of worth alongside mathematical order. Organisms inhabit what Whitehead calls the thick present, inheriting the past through physical apprehension while feeling lures from relevant possibilities through conceptual apprehension. Formal and final causes remain internal to organismic decision-making, not external puppet strings. Law originates as acquired habit from successful integrative acts. Levin's identification of an ordered latent space from which organisms draw novel morphologies holds up, but this space shouldn't be imagined as disembodied machinery determining actuality. Process philosophy avoids both reifying patterns into abstract agencies transcendent to matter and reducing agency to mechanical illusion. Cosmogenesis doesn't obey forms; it creates them.

Radionics operates as a healing method using left-brain instruments to accomplish right-brain work, capturing frequencies similar to those accessed by dowsers, reiki practitioners, and other energy workers. Lucas arrived at radionics through animal nutrition and homeopathy. During his work addressing health issues in livestock, he found that certain conditions nutrition couldn't resolve responded to homeopathic treatment. When homeopathy reached its limits, he discovered radionics. His approach begins with consciousness controlling a three-dimensional holographic projection of light. Energy drives consciousness and consciousness drives energy. Every thought contains a scalar aspect, which also possesses electrical and magnetic components that instruments capture. Radionics equipment uses those electrical and magnetic parts to identify and either suppress or amplify frequencies generating scalar waves. Consider soybean aphids: they represent an energy imbalance in the field rather than purely a chemical problem. By broadcasting frequencies that attract and repel aphids simultaneously, farmers restore field equilibrium without pesticides. Diseases and emotional conditions carry specific frequencies that can be minimized through radionic treatment. Lucas defines love as the unimpeded flow of energy and information. When he broadcast the informational field of Ho'oponopono (I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you) to farmland, mineral content and productivity shifted measurably despite the poem having no expected effect on soil chemistry. This foundational frequency handles roughly 90 percent of issues by restoring proper energy circulation. Physical health problems originate from energetic roots that may be emotional, spiritual, or tied to core beliefs. Depression becomes a symptom of deeper energetic disturbance rather than the underlying cause itself.
Radionics emerged in the early 1900s but faced dismissal as quackery by those working within Newtonian science. Understanding arrives through relativity and quantum mechanics, which recognize observer participation in experiments. During the 1970s, practitioners made medical claims exceeding their expertise and capabilities, damaging the field's reputation. However, legitimate successes occurred; the Arkansas Farm Bureau hired radionics practitioners for field remediation until chemical companies eliminated the practice as economically unfavorable. Intermediate training teaches potentization, programming radionic rates into crystalline structures and sugar-based objects so they hold specific vibrational patterns. Lucas creates programmed crystals for various purposes, including rose quartz enhanced with love and forgiveness frequencies. Sessions occur remotely, with a witness providing connection. Lucas performs comprehensive 200-point analyses, though he acknowledges most serve to confirm he's actually doing something rather than determining treatment approach. His methodology works on causes behind causes. During the first week, he periodically broadcasts new rates as the system can accept them. Clients should drink substantial water because toxins release like they're "dumping" from the body. Emotional fluctuations emerge. Memories surface without obvious reason. Dreams become unusually vivid. The body prioritizes healing whatever's most urgent rather than what clients perceive as problematic. Mainstream approaches attempt attacking identified problems directly. Lucas's methodology assumes he doesn't know priorities and instead focuses on clearing energetic blockages allowing natural healing to proceed.

Contemporary Natural Philosophy Needs a New Theory of Forms | Matthew David Segall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aQlOxkp258
Contemporary natural philosophy requires a new theory of forms, one that draws on Alfred North Whitehead's process philosophy to move beyond both classical Platonism and nominalism. Rather than treating nominalism as simply false, we can recognize both nominalism and realism as developmentally appropriate stages in human consciousness. Ancient Greek philosophy perceived ideas directly in phenomena. Christianity introduced increasing interiorization of thought, and medieval nominalism emerged partly to protect divine omnipotence from logical constraints. Yet nominalism also reflected growing human autonomy; ideas shifted from being perceived givens to human constructs. Modern science, while nominalist in rejecting Aristotelian essences, paradoxically relies on mathematical Pythagorean conceptions of cosmic order. Whitehead's eternal objects offer a synthesis that overcomes limitations of both positions. Science depends on recognizing recurring patterns amid the flux of events. Without such recognition, invariant principles become impossible. Eternal objects aren't fixed physical laws but rather the intelligible structures enabling that recognition. They're deficient in actuality and possess no agency as efficient causes. Actual occasions of experience, living organisms composed of such occasions, hold genuine agency and make decisions to actualize possibilities drawn from this realm of eternal objects. Concrete experiential events have ontological priority over forms, yet forms remain irreducible to those events. Value emerges through integrating possibility with what seeks to actualize itself. When one possibility ingresses into experience, its entire constellation of related possibilities arrives with it, much as perceiving one color presupposes an entire spectrum of contrasts.
Developmental biologist Michael Levin invokes a realm of forms to explain bioelectric patterning in morphogenesis irreducible to genetics alone. While this recognition that formal and final causality belong in biology is correct, attributing agency to the morphospace risks reasserting two-world Platonism. God's role in Whitehead's thought addresses why definite actuality emerges from indefinite possibility, functioning conceptually rather than theologically. Whitehead's God doesn't determine what creatures actualize but provides a primordial ordering of possibilities oriented toward truth, goodness, and beauty. Crucially, God also receives and integrates what finite creatures decide, enriching eternity through time's passage. Actual facts become objectively immortal within God's consequent nature, weaving value into the universe while preventing eternity from remaining static. Abstraction pervades nature itself; sense organs evolve as modes of filtering and differentiating information relevant to organismic life. The term "eternal" refers to existence outside spacetime; "object" means potential available for experience by actual occasions. Language itself presupposes a shared space of meanings transcending particular utterances. Humans reference concepts not yet languaged, suggesting nominalism can't fully account for how this occurs. Whether we employ Whitehead's terminology or Deleuze's virtual multiplicities, contemporary natural philosophy must move beyond crude actualism insisting only already-actualized entities warrant philosophical discussion.

No Bang Just Currents - Episode 12 | Eric Lerner
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6wjceIYH3Y
Plasmoids form along the axes of galaxies and appear as quasars, Herbig-Haro objects, and active galactic nuclei, all characterized by very strong magnetic fields and substantial mass. Standard cosmology assigns black holes to these regions, but Einstein showed that although relativistic velocities are possible, black hole conditions can't be reached in finite time, and Oppenheimer found that even if such conditions were attainable, the collapse would take an infinite time in the external frame. Appeals to an infalling observer's frame, where collapse finishes in finite time, amount to stating that black holes don't exist as physical objects in the external universe. Plasmoids then provide an alternative: massive, magnetically dominated structures whose magnetic fields decrease with increasing scale while the associated currents increase. Roughly 40 groups use plasma focus devices to study such plasmoids on microscopic scales. In these experiments, plasmoids typically have radii of about 300 to 500 microns; achieving net energy fusion requires compressing them to around 30 microns. Fast ICCD cameras with exposure times down to about one fifth of a nanosecond record their formation, supporting the view that such plasmoids may offer the fastest route to economically viable fusion energy.
Disc galaxies show two observable components rather than two distinct galaxy types. The inner optical and infrared component consists of stars, which are dense, collisional objects where magnetization is lost and filamentary plasma hierarchies no longer extend below the stellar scale, even though similar processes give rise to planets. These stars produce the familiar spiral patterns in optical images. At larger radii, rotation curves rely on radio observations that trace plasma gas instead of starlight, since stars become too sparse to use optically. The gas there moves supersonically relative to the stars, which can't be explained by gravity alone because since Galileo, gravitational motion is known to be independent of density, so gas and stars shouldn't display systematically different velocities in a purely gravitational field. The observed discrepancy implies that magnetic confinement acts in addition to gravity, yet standard cosmology largely ignores magnetic fields. Characteristic plasma speeds in the universe follow from dimensionless mass ratios: the electron to proton mass ratio raised to the three quarter power, multiplied by the speed of light, gives an upper speed scale of a little above 1,000 kilometers per second, with the densest galaxy clusters reaching roughly twice that value. A lower characteristic speed equals the electron to proton mass ratio times the speed of light, giving about 100 to 150 kilometers per second, close to the Rydberg speed. These constants constrain plasma behavior across cosmic scales, even though their deeper origin remains unclear.

"A quasiperiodic crystal, or, put succinctly, quasicrystal, is a structure that is ordered but not periodic. A quasicrystalline pattern can continuously fill all available space, but it lacks translational symmetry. While crystals, according to the classical crystallographic restriction theorem, can possess only two, three, four, and six-fold rotational symmetries, the Bragg diffraction pattern of quasicrystals shows sharp peaks with other symmetry orders, for instance five-fold."
This quasicrystal has 29-fold rotational symmetry and is made by rotating 29 plane waves by π/n for n =1 to 29 and adding them all together. The basic idea behind this animation is that the pixel at (x,y) is determined by
f(x,y)=Σ sin(x cos(π/n) - y sin(π/n) + θₙ)
with each f(x,y) rescaled to lie in the range [0,1]. The animation is made by transitioning through several color gradients and rescaling methods, while being parametrized by the individual phases θₙ".
