Form and the Electrified Organism
https://www.natureinstitute.org/article/stephen-l-talbott/form-and-the-electrified-organism

Stephen Talbott points out that talking about gene networks and protein gradients in embryogenesis simply replaces Huxley’s poetic “invisible trowel” with new patterns of form rather than truly explaining how form arises. Gene expression patterns and chemical gradients are themselves manifestations of form, each demanding its own account. Biology’s endless trail of causes becomes a hall of mirrors, with every level of description invoking fresh layers of organized structure.

Recent work on bioelectric fields offers a new view of formative processes. Vandenberg and colleagues captured time-lapse images of tadpole embryos in which regions of membrane voltage lit up like ghostly blueprints before facial features formed, proving that electric potentials regulate gene expression in craniofacial development. Michael Levin emphasizes that these bioelectric cues, sustained over minutes to days through ion flows, orchestrate cell proliferation, migration, orientation, differentiation and even tumor suppression. Pai’s experiments went further by tweaking membrane voltages to induce eye deformities or grow eye-like structures in unexpected locations, confirming that bioelectric states can both inhibit and generate organ-level form.

Talbott warns against elevating bioelectric fields to master regulators any more than genetic networks. True understanding emerges from weaving together chromosomal architectures, membrane mosaics, RNA transport rhythms and bioelectric landscapes into a dynamic context where causes shift with the organism’s own unfolding. Biology explains by means of these intertwined dimensions of form rather than positing a single defining code.

From Physical Causes to Organisms of Meaning
https://bwo.life/mqual/genome_6.htm#laws_and_causes

The “because of physical law” describes relationships that hold no matter the circumstance. Gravity pulls objects in predictable ways even in a vacuum chamber. Scientists reveal these laws by isolating systems where outside factors are kept to a minimum. By contrast, the “because of reason” or “because of meaning” names a web of influences that cannot be isolated. A blush because of suspicion might trace back to a gesture, a memory, or a passing thought all woven into a living context.

Physicists accept that causes are rough, context-bound approximations. David Salsburg calls the notion of cause and effect a chimera that collapses under pure reason. Even the most finely tuned machine can fail when rust or a power surge intervenes. Laws describe what will always be true. Causes offer provisional narratives that fit only a moment in time.

Biology makes contextual transformation its focus. Organisms live by weaving stimulus, response, regulation and communication into a cohesive whole. A single cell event shifts its own meaning as the surrounding context changes. When researchers pursue cause and effect in gene regulation, circadian rhythms or nuclear architecture they find no mechanism operating in isolation. True understanding arises from portraying an organism’s living harmony, tracing how chromosome architectures, membrane mosaics, metabolic cycles and bioelectric fields interlace in a single unfolding story.

Peace and Blessings to Robert Murray-Smith

Robert ran an excellent DIY engineering channel, debunking many over unity myths and sharing simple ways to build all kind of projects like simple electronics, microcontroller projects, to building your own CNC machine to tinkering with Raspberry Pi and Arduino. He also shows how to create energy harvesting devices for solar, wind, pedal power and even heat to electricity using everyday materials you can find at home.

Sadly, he had been suffering from his life's circumstances and chose to end his own life. May Robert find peace as he traverses the planetary spheres Robert. Thank you for your years of kind and genuine sharing.

Geometry, Morphogenesis & Behavior | Katia Barrett
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THFII1c5xPw

Katia Barrett weaves together two research stories about how physical forces carve living shapes. In her first study on Aurelia aurita jellyfish, she explores how each swim pulse sculpts the canals that carry nutrients. High-speed imaging and particle image velocimetry reveal that when the bell’s circular muscles squeeze against a wedge of viscoelastic mesoglea, they generate tensile forces that pull endodermal tissue inward. Trim away that mesoglea with an enzyme, and the same muscle contractions buckle the canals rather than stretch them. Barrett then uncovers a second layer of control: younger canals, which contract more strongly, tug harder on the surrounding matrix, drawing new branches toward themselves and guiding growth without any genetic blueprint.

Her PhD work shifts to Xenopus laevis animal-cap explants, where she recreates body-axis extension by partnering mesodermal and epithelial cells. Mesoderm cells driven by activin will not elongate on their own. Add an overlying epithelial sheet, however, and the tissue reliably bends into a dumbbell shape. Time-lapse PIV shows that elongation kicks off at the boundary: basal epithelial cells first line up perpendicular to the future axis, then pass that alignment down into the mesenchyme. Tear the epithelium into two or three fragments, and you get two or three elongation poles. This results as a clear demonstration that simple boundary rules, not elaborate gene circuits, can channel mechanical cues into a robust, flexible roadmap for form.

Inverting Platonic Solids | Paul Schatz
https://anthroposophy.eu/Mathematics_of_the_etheric

"Paul Schatz (1898-1979) was a German-born sculptor, inventor and mathematician who studied the inversion of the platonic solids. Schatz is most known for his discovery of the new 'oloid' shape in 1929.

Inversion is a dynamic metamorphosis process by which a form turns inside out, interchanging its inner and outer surfaces. Using mobile models of the Platonic solids, Schatz demonstrated that the cube can undergo projective inversion: its faces tip through six joints to form a hollow frame before returning to the original solid in a continuous, cyclical movement. He extended this principle to all regular polyhedra, laying the foundations for what became known as Platonic inversion.

Schatz not only developed the Invertible Cube with its specific rhythmic mobility but also found an additional movement consisting of a rhythmically pulsing inversion that was added to the two basic movements of rotation (rotary motion) and translation (translational motion in a straight line). This new type of motion is the basis for novel technical designs and applications.

One such application is fluid mixers [such as developed by the company Oloid AG in CH (1993), continuted by Hortimax BV in NL (2007) and Inversions-Technik GmbH in CH (2012) - see link below]. The oloid shape unwinds 100% of its surface during inversion and this is a lever for highly efficient movement of liquids: oloids can be can be used to homogenize large quantities of liquids using relatively low energies (e.g. up to 10,000 m³ of water can be mixed with just 220 W)."

The Radius of Error

When science mistakes its own symbols for reality, it begins to worship shadows.

This new essay explores how the Schwarzschild radius and the Planck scale — two clever mathematical devices — became treated as physical absolutes, giving rise to black hole dogma and an entire cosmology built on abstraction.

Meanwhile, experiments in plasma physics and direct observation reveal a very different universe: not a machine of collapsing voids, but a living field of light, charge, and self-organization.

It’s a story about how knowledge loses its life — and how it might regain it.

The Etheric Body Becomes an Organ of Imaginative Cognition
From the work in progress on fifth chapter of the new edition of The New Experience of the Supersensible

" To take the next step, and prepare the etheric body further, we must resolve to give up our desire to move on and expand into the inviting cosmic etheric spaces. We must fulfil an act of creative resignation: instead of expanding joyfully, wider and higher into the light filled etheric worlds, we hold on to the spiritualized forces of perception, and start afresh from there. We gather together all our etheric forces, from the wider periphery of our previous experiences, inhale them sink into our bodies and let them be totally erased from consciousness. This is not an easy task, because the experiences in the etheric world are very powerful. What helps us is the fact that we are not suppressing the forces that cause and sustain these experiences, but only the imaginative pictures, by means of which we brought them to imaginative cognition. The forces remain embodied in the etheric body, while the pictures are deleted from consciousness, until they are wholly forgotten. This practice of active spirit forgetting, drinking consciously from the stream of Lethe, is one of the faculties that must be mastered, before the bridge of spiritual memory and continuation of consciousness can be built. We let the unconscious forces of spiritualized habit assimilate and potentize the etherized forces in the depths of the etheric and physical bodies, and we know that they will become available for the new meditative practices, according to the spiritual requirements of each real situation. [ Spiritual memory has two sides that originate from one center. Remembering on one level of consciousness is forgetting in the other- and vice versa. This applies however not only to the alternation between ordinary and supersensible consciousness, but also, more subtly, to the transitions between various levels of supersensible consciousness, where the terms ‘remembering’ and ‘forgetting’ must acquire somewhat different meaning. ]

In the spiritualization of thinking and perception alike, we use the forces extracted from the etherization of the blood. We accomplished an essence exchange between the two etherized streams of growth and decay, seed and plant, harvested and extracted them, to gain highly potentized formative etheric force. We showed how it was further used by the free being of the will to separate and coordinate the three soul forces. From this formative extract the organ of imaginative perception and cognition between the eyes was formed. This organ consists of a miniaturized, microcosmic, individualization and recapitulation of the second Mystery of Golgotha, through which the forces of life, death and resurrection are merged, as Rudolf Steiner says, ‘as chemical combination’. [ The formation of this organ between the eyes, that becomes like a ‘third eye’, is the two petalled lotus flower, in which the true ‘I’ is formed, and the home base of the bridge is consolidated. ] And the great discovery that we make at this stage is, that when this organ has reached a certain degree of formation, it becomes movable. That is, we realize that we can use the two streams of etherization, flowing from the heart to the pineal, to rotate and move it at will. We learn how to imprint it so strongly in the etheric body, that its roots in the organ between the eyes are loosened, and we transfer its pure etheric vortex to other parts and centers of the body. It becomes thus a movable, transferable spiritual eye. This happens through the intensive strengthening of the meditative exercises of Knowledge of the Higher Worlds and Occult Science. From a certain stage, the formative spiritual forces, that form this supersensible organ between the eyes, can be gradually transferred to the larynx, breast, and limbs, and to the etheric body as a whole. And this faculty becomes an essential preparatory stage for the bridge construction.

We have already referred in the first part of the introduction to the fact that every crossing and inversion point of the process of Umstülpung, when consciously grasped, becomes an etheric openness, gate and supersensible 'eye'. We drew attention to Rudolf Steiner's characterization of the method developed by Paul's pupil, Dionysius the Areopagite, that taught in Paul’s esoteric Christian-Platonic school in Athens. But in truth, as Rudolf Steiner points out, it was the Christ Himself how taught in this school. And what Paul and Dionysius learned from His teaching, became the first version of the new Michaelic yoga. At the crossing point of the so dreadfully-intellectually called ‘positive and negative theology’- which was nothing intellectual or theological, but Christ’s demonstration of the rhythms of His spiritual being and becoming- in this crossing point, the living being of the resurrected Christ was perceived and grasped. The same process was demonstrated in the first part of this chapter, in the Umstülpung and essence exchange of thinking with the will and applied also to the etherization of sense-perception. This practice, let us be reminded, has three stages: first, to confront, overcome and etherize the death forces, second, to resurrect thinking and perception from the dead gave of the brain, and third, to enter ‘with open eyes’ into the etheric world, and learn how to regulate the outstreaming life forces of our etherized perception and cross them with the etheric forces of the external etheric world.

Because common intellectual misrepresentations of spiritual science abound aplenty, it must be emphasized again, that the concept, representation and word, ‘organ’, taken from the physical body and used to designate spiritual organs of perception, is irredeemably misleading. In the astral and etheric bodies, we only have pure supersensible activities, events, streams, and vortexes of becomings. A spiritual organ of perception, like the one referred to here, that is formed between the eyes, means, therefore, an individualized spiritual activity of the birth, death and resurrection of cognition and knowledge. And this activity, that exists only as it is actualized and can be only actualized in active spiritual praxis, cannot be ‘remembered’ or ‘retained’ in consciousness in any passive way. It must be actualized in each living moment of spiritual research-again and again.

This ‘to do it again and again’ seems tiresome and prosaic to our lazy, passive earthly consciousness. But we don’t find it so tiresome when we joyfully satisfy again and again our hunger and breath again the life-giving air! When our dead, intellectual, cognition and knowledge are spiritualized and resurrected from their daily grave in our brains, they become living beings, events, and processes, and we experience much more intense passion and enthusiasm, joy, and satisfaction, to actualize and fulfil them ‘again and again’, because supersensible cognition is a life giving, nourishing, refreshing, redeeming activity. Therefore, we spiritualize again our sense-perceptions and harvest, extract and potentize, in our meditations, the forces we gain. We prepare robust etheric extracts in this way, that can be applied to each spiritual task.

Because our task in this book is to demonstrate that spiritual science is an empirical, practical, spiritual art and craft, we again choose few concrete examples, taken from a wide and complex filed of spiritual praxis.

We direct and focus- again- our attention solely on the crossing point of the Umstülpung process between the physical and etheric eyes and physical and etheric perceptions and worlds, described above. All the spiritualized forces of our etheric body, created in the above-described meditations on growth and decay, seed, and plant, are intensifed and their potent spiritual forces are extracted. After we repeat these meditations, enliven, warm, fire and actualize them in the living present, we procced to the next step.

When we focus the wide-awake etheric perception on the point of Umstülpung, in which space turns into living time and time into living space, we discover something of great importance to this part of the knowledge drama of the Second Coming. As we saw, the center created between the eyes, leads, on the one hand, to the conscious ability to control and regulate consciously the resurrection and killing, devitalization and revitalization of sense-perception. On the other hand, it leads to the development of the creative imaginative forces, used in the practical creation of the Earthly-Human Sun, as we show in chapter six below. We emphasized above that in supersensible consciousness, the perceptive and active, knowing and creating faculties, separated in ordinary consciouses, become one. For this purpose, we place at the center of our meditation the etheric crossing, essence exchange and breathing of life and death, time and space, inside and outside. We fire this point and process until it burns so intensively, that the dead intellectual concept and representation that we made of our sense-perception, arise as living imagination from its brain grave, and light up in imaginative perception. Right there, in this abyss of sense-perception and across the threshold of etheric man-world becoming, we consolidate a cognitive stronghold made from more robust etheric consistency, on which our etheric cognition and the bridge will be henceforth grounded."

Henri Bortoft and the Touch of Wholeness | Philip Franses
In Dialogue, vol. 1 September 2020 pp. 40-44 (Article)

Henri Bortoft describes Goethe’s approach to scientific knowing as an act of immersive participation in phenomena rather than an exercise of abstract judgment. In Goethe’s garden in Weimar close attention to living form awakened a direct experience of wholeness. This practice teaches the scientist to suspend preconceived notions and to attend to the unfolding of phenomena in time.

Goethe’s study of plant metamorphosis reveals how patient observation uncovers a sequence of transformations. These transformations belong to a unified living process that unfolds in movement. Bortoft contrasts this with conventional analytical methods that break reality into separate parts and then attempt to reassemble them. Wholeness in Goethe’s view is not a mere sum of isolated bits but a dynamic activity grasped in lived movement.

Bortoft also explores Goethe’s cultivation of what he calls delicate empiricism by allowing phenomena to show themselves freely. Through dialogues with students and colleagues he demonstrates how the touch of wholeness arises when perceiver and perceived resonate together. His examples of color studies show how careful attention to light and shadow discloses a living polarity rather than isolated pigments. Move from objective distance to responsive involvement that honors the intrinsic wholeness of nature.

Compresence and Coalescence | Louis H. Kauffman
In Dialogue, vol. 1 September 2020 pp. 24-39 (Article)

Louis H Kauffman revisits Henri Bortoft’s 1970 paper on the ambiguity of one and two in Young’s experiment through the lens of quantum theory and second order cybernetics. Compresence describes the state in which observer and objects remain independent and coalescence names the moment they merge into a single event of perception. In the double slit experiment interference appears precisely when the two slits cannot be distinguished. This mirrors the quantum principle that indistinguishable trajectories give rise to interference at the point of measurement and it resonates with cybernetic eigenforms, stable patterns of perception born from recursive observation.

Using symbolic equations such as P=[PP] and Heinz von Foerster’s statement I=II, recursion and self reference produce patterns that resemble interference fringes. The "quantum collapse of a superposition" into a definite eigenstate corresponds to the cybernetic act of creating an eigenform. Reality emerges through an observer’s participatory process that oscillates between distinction and unity.

The appendix on G Spencer Brown’s Laws of Form highlights the central role of basic distinctions. A single mark draws a boundary between inside and outside. Through the laws of calling and crossing Spencer Brown shows how nested and adjacent marks collapse to either marked or unmarked states in a unique arithmetic. This simple calculus of indications becomes the precursor to recursion and self interaction when an operator is applied to itself. It is this primordial dance of distinction and oscillation that underlies both phenomenological description and "quantum phenomena."

Autopoiesis and the Laws of Form | Terry Marks-Tarlow on New Thinking Allowed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIoH7nSPjUE

Terry Marks-Tarlow defines autopoiesis as living systems that maintain their own boundaries while reproducing themselves and staying alive through interaction with their environment. Autopoiesis starts with consciousness rather than matter and observers are always part of the systems they observe. Spencer Brown’s Laws of Form introduce a single mark that draws a boundary between inside and outside. Through the laws of calling and crossing nested or adjacent marks collapse to either marked or unmarked states. Reentry or cancellation occurs when a distinction re-enters itself, creating paradox and oscillation. Such recursive loops underlie feedback processes in fractal geometry, chaos theory, quantum physics and psychological self-observation.

Varela and Maturana drew on Spencer Brown’s math to describe living systems as structurally open and functionally closed. Structural openness allows exchange with the environment while functional closure preserves identity. The Ouroboros, a snake swallowing its own tail, embodies recursive loops that generate higher consciousness by holding paradoxical opposites. Second-order cybernetics and von Foerster’s eigenforms appear as stable perceptions formed through recursion. Boundaries and distinctions arise from a primordial dance of differentiation and oscillation.

Laws of Form | G. Spencer Brown
https://archive.org/details/g.-spencer-brown-laws-of-form

G. Spencer Brown's book The Laws of Form reveal a primordial dance of distinction and oscillation that underlies logic perception biology and microscopic phenomena. Distinction is taken as the very first act that brings a universe into being. A single boundary drawn in a plane carves out an inside and leaves an outside. In naming one side the marked state appears and the other side remains unmarked. Two simple rules follow: calling a name twice does not change its value and crossing a boundary twice brings you back to where you began. In this way the mark both is the distinction and creates the distinction, folding operator, observer, and observed into a single gesture.

From these beginnings emerges what Spencer refers to as the primary arithmetic. Any pattern of marks can be reduced step by step by applying the calling and crossing rules until only a single mark or none remains. He shows that this process always works and that each arrangement has a unique outcome. Patterns reducing to one mark stand for the marked state and those reducing to nothing stand for the unmarked state. Additional theorems demonstrate how equivalent patterns may be substituted, ensuring that the arithmetic remains coherent and complete.

Spencer Brown moves inward to develop a primary algebra by treating the two basic equations as the foundation for algebraic operations. Marks become operators acting on expressions that can reflect, iterate, transpose, and even recur. If if you insert the mark into its own expression it cancels itself out. That act of reentry brings paradox and self reference into the system. Each boundary becomes a fold where observer and observed meet.

Hugo Moss invites you to explore Goethe’s method of observing natural phenomena as a delicate empiricism rather than a dry, analytical exercise. He understands Goethe’s critique of early Enlightenment science to show that observation unfolds in a two-way dynamic. The plant you study reveals its form to you and you, in turn, are transformed by your attentive presence.

Gather a few simple materials and carve out a quiet space. Then watch videos three through six in one sitting to complete the four-step exercise. Afterward you can join weekly meetings to share insights and deepen your practice.

Moss speaks from the heart as an amateur enthusiast rather than a professional historian. His warmth for Goethe’s soft engagement with nature shines through every stage of the tutorial. His hope is to awaken a gentle science of direct, living interaction with the world around us.

"Recently, some new information and inside coverage of the rather mysterious ex-weapons scientist Guy Obolensky and his frequency or plasmoid healing chamber, variously named The Faser chamber, Teslatron, Tesla Healing Machine, or Plasmoid Infusion Chamber was released. This chamber is of course based on the same technology as Nikola Tesla’s healing chamber of the same names.

Malcolm Bendall has made some pretty wild statements about his Plasmoid Infusion in the past, and people have either been fascinated, often asking how they could infuse themselves or alternatively thought the whole thing was a bit sci fi and mad to be real.

The new articles that have recently been released on medium by the account Adam, tell the story of anothers experience in the chamber and he actually provides some incredible photographs of the chamber when active, which were taken for the film they were there to document for “Eternal Youth” - and for which the photographer supposedly sacrificed several iPhones to the machines arcing plasma tendrils, attempting to capture.

It turns out many people experienced what it was like to be in Guy Obelinky's chamber, although few have told their tale before now. We are going to take a look at these stories in this video."

Drawing a Sacred Geometrical Bio-Architectural Structure into The Land | Bio-Vedic Architecture with Alosha Zoya
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MadVPe0yk

Alosha Zoya shows how to transfer complex sacred geometrical blueprints from paper onto the land using simple tools and clear steps. First he finds magnetic north with two pegs, considers the view, and locates the central point by measuring between side pegs. Then he checks perpendicularity by comparing distances and making slight adjustments until the axes are square. A triangle method verifies that every line matches the drawing’s precise dimensions.

With the center and axes marked, Zoya sharpens lines in the soil with a pick and lays out key reference points for the dome entrance, central vault, and bamboo room by measuring exact offsets. He explains how to mark the outer edge of foundations at a consistent distance, and how to adapt sacred shapes such as the vesica piscis by eye once the core geometry is in place. Pegs trace the tunnels and water tank while string lines guide the curves so that the layout stays true to the computer plan.
