"The aim of this paper is to expose Proclus, a fifth-century Athenian Platonist, as a key figure in a tradition of interpretation that exploited Plato’s divided line as evidence for the attribution of a doctrine of mathematical intermediaries to Plato. I will claim that to fully appreciate the rationale behind Proclus’s exegesis of the passage, it is necessary to read it against the backdrop of his Neoplatonic metaphysics— especially his views on the procession of all reality from a single principle and his particular views on the ontology of mathematical objects. I will further argue that Proclus’s insistence on the harmony between Plato and Pythagoreanism is the main motive behind this interpretation. For Proclus, the divided line is a typical sample of what he regards as “Pythagorean theology,” that is, instruction about the first principles of reality through mathematical images."

Yesterday, I was drawn to pick up Giordano Bruno's Thirty Seals & the Seal of Seals from my bookshelf. Found a page with a dodecahedral-tesseract figure, that look very reminiscent of certain radiesthesia and symbolic radionics diagrams I have seen and used. In the book "Shape Power", Dan Davdison also discusses the subtle power of this form. Bruno's seals are from the 1580s, which is both surprising and not so surprising simultaneously.

I use that yellow tesseract plate for some radionics projects.

Malcolm Rae - MagnetoGeometry & Radionics
Given that we’re dancing around the importance and power of certain artistic forms, we are now approaching the subject of radionics.

I find the Malcolm Rae Magneto-Geometry Cards to be an essential tool in this field. These cards are carefully dowsed to encapsulate the living, vital essence of various elements—whether it’s a nutrient, concept, place, or more. They hold significant power and utility, widely appreciated by different radionic practitioners as an effective means of broadcasting.

Here’s a personal archive of Rae-style cards, including those dowsed by Malcolm Rae himself and several other radionic practitioners. It is an outdated but still very thorough collection.

""Magneto-geometric potency preparation” came about in the following manner:-

Radiesthetists frequently use a 100 cm. rule, along which to measure the "potency energy” of a sample of a remedy. With the sample located at the "zero” end of the rule, they move the pendulum along the rule from left to right, nothing the point at which the pendulum swings exactly at right angles to the rule. This point indicates a relative potency energy.

It occurred to me that the point of balance thus detected is, in fact, the "boundary” between the remedy’s local energy field, and a component of the earth’s magnetic field, and this view was to some extent corroborated by the observation that measurements made with the rule differently orientated in relation to the terrestrial field yielded different balance points.

This led to a series of measurements being made in respect of several different remedies, using the remedy vial as the central point, and finding the balance point along the rule, with it pointing in turn to each of the Cardinal and half Cardinal points of the compass. The results of these measurements were then plotted on polar graph paper, and the adjacent points joined by straight lines to form a geometric pattern related to each remedy. Each point was found to be solely related to one remedy.

If the interaction of the remedy’s energy field with the earth’s field resulted in a pattern related to the remedy, it seemed not unlikely that the interaction of the earth’s field and the pattern could be used to create a replica of the remedy; and experiments proved this to be the case.

An interesting point then discovered was that the alignment of the pattern with the orientation in which it had been drawn resulted in the replica being of a very high potency (theoretically, infinite potency), whilst the greater the degree of misalignment the lower the potency replicated. From this, a scale was developed, against which to set the pattern to the required potency. At that time-1966-a number of patterns related to remedies were prepared, each drawn on a circular disc orientated North – South, and a few experimental instruments were constructed."

"Radionics is a sometimes-controversial therapeutic modality which combines Radiesthesia with the use of psychoactivated codes, symbols and instruments. This system supports and amplifies the practitioner’s healing intention, allowing analysis and treatment at a distance; practitioner and patient may be on opposite sides of the planet. Beginning with the work of Dr. Albert Abrams (1863 – 1924), Radionics has developed such that it may be used to treat not only humans but also animals, crops and soils, and, potentially, the ecosphere itself. The basis is the contention that human consciousness can influence the action of Nature to positive effect.

21st Century Radionics, focusing on human Radionics, serves two purposes. The first is to give an outline of the concepts, methods and techniques used in Radionic practice. This includes an overview of dowsing and the Radiesthesic sense; an extended model of the human Subtle Anatomy – the complex of energy and information fields which underlie the physical body; a description of the wide range of stressors that may compromise this field and produce illness; and techniques which might be used to normalise disturbed fields – in short, techniques of analysis and treatment. Techniques for making Radionic codes and Rates are discussed, as is the important area of remedy synthesis – the encoding of vibrational remedies such as homoeopathics into carrier materials such as water or sac lac.

The second purpose is the attempt to address the central question ‘how could it possibly work?’ To answer the author combines insights from thinkers such as Jung, Maslow, Bohm and Sheldrake with ideas drawn from Quantum Mechanics and other areas of present-day science. The attempt to answer this question suggests a rethink of fundamental ideas about man, Nature, and the origins of what we perceive to be reality. In response to critiques of Radionics which claim it is some form of magic or chicanery, the author proposes that its techniques arise from the inner structure of Nature itself, supporting the contention of Richard Gerber M.D. that ‘Radionics is certainly the strangest of all vibrational-medicine approaches, but is one that may ultimately teach us the most about the vibrational nature of healing and human consciousness itself.’
