"We invite you to try our new translation tools! Compare existing English translations of Dr. Steiner's teachings to both the original German text as well as a literal translation of the German. With this new feature, one finds missing paragraphs, truncated sections, and varying interpretations. There are also a wide range of works that have never been translated into English at all. It is shocking that nearly 100 years after his death, so much of Rudolf Steiner's work is not yet available in English. We aim to correct this.

Comparison to original German. To assist you with comparisons of English to German, click a button to display them side by side. We have numbered the paragraphs where possible. A second button toggles between the German and a literal translation of it. By displaying the German as well as the translations, we hope to enable readers to more deeply understand the meaning of complex passages.

Focus on the books. We have first implemented these tools in Rudolf Steiner's original books (GA 1-28) since they are his most definitive works. He wrote them with precision for publication in German and are therefore considered the most reliable sources of his teachings. While we offer more than 3,000 lectures, they were transcribed from notes taken by others in German and were not reviewed by Steiner himself.

Making Steiner Searchable. Much of Steiner's work is still not easily searchable in English. By adding automated translations of materials we don't currently have in our collection, people will be able to find this valuable information in search queries. These documents will clearly be marked as “automated” and will always be presented with the ability to compare them to the original German text. There are nearly 2,000 documents that are Not Yet Available on our site or in our search engine. By adding automated translations, we are making them accessible online in English.

Example — Social Threefolding. A prime example of our motivation for offering these tools pertains to one of the most important topic of our time - Social Threefolding. Steiner identified three spheres of society (the cultural, political, and economic) that ought to operate independently of one another for optimal social well-being. This is referred to as Threefolding.

Through our research, we have found an astounding thirty-eight of Steiner's writings on Threefolding that have never been officially published in English.

The only English publication of CW 24, The Renewal of the Social Organism (1985) omits 27 documents originally written by Dr. Steiner and classified in GA 24, Aufsätze über die Dreigliederung des sozialen Organismus. These 27 documents can now be found HERE. GA 19, Gedanken während der Zeit des Krieges has never been completely translated into English and published. This volume contains 11 articles. Only the first lecture of this volume has been translated into English by Daniel Hafner. See Thoughts During the Time of War. The remaining ten documents can now be found HERE. To complicate matters, the materials of volumes 19 & 24 were initially combined in the German GA 24, Aufsätze über die Dreigliederung des sozialen Organismus. This are now being separated again into two volumes (GA 19 & GA 24). Such changes make it difficult to track collections in English to the German.

GA 23 is also about Threefolding. One can see by using our comparison tools, however, that the 1972 version, The Threefold Social Order, is so abridged that its paragraphs cannot be directly correlated to those of the original German text written by Dr. Steiner. Fortunately, we have another complete translation of GA 23, Basic Issues of the Social Question, by Frank Thomas Smith."

The honey bee has lived in close association with human beings for millennia. Tragically, however, humanity’s once intimate connection with this unique creature has been harmed by our increasingly utilitarian and exploitative dealings with the natural world. We are now in urgent need of re-establishing a deeper relationship, not just for the sake of the bees themselves but for the whole of nature – and of course for ourselves. Lorenzen – a true master beekeeper – provides numerous insights to enable a more fruitful engagement with the living world. Offering an enrichment of the knowledge and practice of beekeeping, he discusses the origins of the honey bee, its relationship to the floral kingdom, the digestion of the bee, the treatment of bee diseases as well as appropriate beekeeping techniques. He also develops subtle spiritual concepts such as the idea of the bee colony as an ‘individuality’ and ‘group-soul’, providing new depth and wisdom to our understanding of how bees live and work.

2. Bees and the Ancient Mysteries

In an extraordinary exposition, Lorenzen―an expert beekeeper and student of contemporary spiritual science – describes the Logos mysteries, based at the ancient temple of Artemis in Ephesus, where priestesses were known as “Melissas” (honeybees), while the sacrificial priests were called “Essenes” (bee kings). These cultic mysteries, he says, bore remarkable parallels to the workings of a bee colony―specifically in the relationship between the queen and worker bees to the bees’ spiritual group soul. Lorenzen commences his unique study with a discussion of flowers and insects, exploring their common origins. He then describes the beginnings of the honeybee, its connection with the fig wasp and the subsequent controlled transformation of the latter that took place in prehistoric mystery centers. Breeding the honeybee from the fig wasp―a sacred deed performed at consecrated sanctuaries―was part of the Fig-tree mysteries. The initiates behind this task developed the ability to commune with the bees’ group soul and to work consciously on the mutual development of the hive and humanity."


"Iwer Thor Lorenzen (1895-1976) is an anthroposophist whose work is little known, but who (for some) ranks amongst the most insightful contributors to Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science. He is beyond doubt someone who has gone further than most people in contemplating and meditating on the descriptions that Rudolf Steiner gave of the spiritual reality, and marrying and cross fertilizing these with his extensive scientific knowledge. Whereas many anthroposophists re-hash Steiner quotes and references, Lorenzen has something to add.

Lorenzen's writings are valuable for serious students of spiritual science, because they take the material offered by Rudolf Steiner and bring it into a new frame with truly new descriptions. Lorenzen writes from his own pen and does not explicitly build on excerpts and quotes from Steiner lectures – except in his two later works. He shares his insights and the fruits of lifelong study and contemplation in his own words. The earnest student of Rudolf Steiner’s work will recognise the themes and elements from the manifold lectures by Steiner, however the exposition is put forth in a new continuous line of scientific storytelling, thereby offering a unique value-add perspective. Here is someone who has assimilated and put together by contemplation what he has studied for decades, and then talks to us from that perspective of insight and received inspiration"

The Nonexistence of Black Holes

The Electric Universe theory posits that black holes should not exist. The recent Event Horizon image, showcasing the event horizon of a "black hole" at the heart of the M87 galaxy, has sparked debate about the validity of this theory. Obviously, we know these images are not the whole story.

To create the black hole image, thousands of models were generated using a computer program with various inputs. These models were then compared to extremely low-resolution radio telescope imagery taken over time. Not surprisingly, a match was found, which can be seen as confirmation bias—searching for a specific pattern until it appears, like seeing a bunny shape in a cloud and concluding it's a giant rabbit in the sky. The actual resolution of the image is equivalent to just six pixels. Despite the media celebrating it as a photographic achievement, the reality might not align with popular perception.

The image in question is a radio image, not one of visible light, implying it is a plasmoid—a giant magnet whose magnetic field is being observed. This is similar to what one would see if a regular star were viewed through a radio telescope. When imaging the Sun in radio frequencies, active spots mainly around the equatorial region are visible, while the center appears radio-quiet, consistent with the behavior of an electrical device. Therefore, the image likely represents a z-pinched plasmoid.

In the Electric Universe view, one description of 'black holes' are as phenomena where dielectric forces overwhelm magnetic forces at high energy scales, leading to spatial suppression. If we consider all circuits as open and interconnected in a dependent hierarchy, rather than separate and closed, the phenomena at the center of each hierarchy become clearer. Stars balance current and magnetic forces at the pinch point, condensing the aggregated phenomena. In contrast, 'black holes' imply that more energy flows into a galaxy than flows out, necessary for the growth and condensation of lower systems and allowing for stability and the emergence of life.
