To paraphrase the above quote by Atkinson:

FF = formative force
- Spirit FF from the Stars and carry the archetypal forms of the species
- Astral FF coming from the Planets and provide sub species variety
- Etheric FF coming from the Atmospheric sphere that provides the phenotype variation
- Physical FF, coming from the physical activities and chemistry of the environment, that provides the site specific variants in plant form.

*Note: Formative Forces are not the ethers.

Ernst Marti's distinguishing between ether and formative force:
- When the astral forces stream in by way of the portals of the stars (or streamed in during creation), they stimulate the ethers and create from them the formative forces.

- Astral forces stimulate the ethers and create out of them the formative forces

- Stars stimulate the formative forces in the etheric, which then brings forth the form appearing in the physical

- The spiritual forces penetrate more deeply into the elements and create in them the substances. Totality of these forces as The Word, the cosmic word, which sounds in and through the stars.

Malcolm Bendall and Plasmoid Technology

Atomic Energy From Water Powerpoint
"Bendall’s proprietary device, once attached to an internal combustion engine generates energy from a combination of HHO, plasma, preconditioned water, the original fossil fuel, the motor’s vacuum and the recovered exhaust gases."

"Retrofitting the Bendall Engine technology to an existing engine increases the effciency by ≥ 90%. This is because the by-product of burning water as an atomic fuel is water, which is continuously recirculated inside our closed fuel system"

"The exhaust gases, which are introduced at an angle, first expand anti-clockwise and then contract clockwise as they pass through the cavity between two spheres. This creates opposing tornadoes within both the outer and inner spheres.

These expanding and then contracting tornadoes strip electrons and lay a positive charge on the outside surface of the inner sphere. The atomised water on the inside of the inner sphere lays a negative charge. This creates a potential difference across the stainless steel, charging the plasmoids."

"The Bendall engine ignition begins with the use of a fossil fuel in order to heat the Thunderstorm Generator to operational temperatures. Once the Thunderstorm generator has reached its operating temperature (around 300°C) our plasmoid fuel is introduced where it is charged.

The hybrid fuel (water vapor and plasmoids) is created when a preconditioned water and ionised air mix is passed through the Plasmoid generator. This generator vaporises water and produces plasmoids from collapsing cavitation bubbles. Stainless steel is used as the catalyst along with the plasmoids to produce hydrogen and oxygen by disassembling the water.

A plasmoid is a coherent toroidal structure of plasma confined by magnetic fields. It is a self structuring, self regulating, homeostatic system"

“Here is where the exhaust comes up and comes into the sphere which is actually a 24 inch sphere, with an 18 inch sphere inside it, which directs the flow in an anticlockwise direction. This anticlockwise is how exploding energy goes in the universe. There’s no straight lines. Everything that moves is moving in a curve. Every curve is part of a spiral, and every spiral is either imploding or exploding. And therefore you have two distinct events. You either have the life force which is imploding and bringing everything together for life and planets to exist. And then you have the death force which is designed to redistribute that . . . death and destruction is as spin that is exploding and tearing things apart.

“Now when you counter-oppose those two primal forces of the universe, you create disruption which is going to create some unique geometry in your plasma that’s developed if you have the right geometry and the right inputs. So basically, in this sphere, we’re forcing the air to spin in an anticlockwise direction which creates automatically on the inside sphere a clockwise direction. And one is coming into the vacuum of the engine, and the other is leaving the engine and in this connecting pipe which is a six inch into four inch, you have that same mechanism happening. Here is our transition, 51.84 degrees, into this pipe, and that transition ensures that we don’t lose that stored energy from the plasmoids that have been developed in the bubbler, and grown and charged within this Thunderstorm generator. So you can think of it as lighting that discharges between the positive side charge and the negative side. Also you can view this sphere as a net positive charge and the other sphere as a net negative charge. Therefore there’s a particle accelerator effect between the desire for everything to attract and the charges to equalize.”

Answers to Six Questions about the nature of some fundamental Natural Science concepts by Rudolf Steiner for the year 1919
- From the Schiller Files

"Neither sound, nor warmth, nor light, nor electricity are waves, just as little as a horse is a sum of gallop paces. Sound, for instance, is a real suffering and the effect of this real suffering in its passage through the air is vibration. For a human being as a sensing being, the oscillation is the occasion for imitating the suffering; therein consists the perception of sound. It is similar with others: light, etc."
Remarks on Light by Rudolf Steiner - From the Schiller Files

"Light is that by which it is perceived. The vibration is the revelation of light in the ether.

- The refraction of light is the result of the effect of a certain force-direction upon the light direction. Newton's colour rings ( circles), phenomena of interference, are results of light-radiation ( effect of light in the ether), and of the effects of other forces found in the path of light ( weakening effects, gradually weakening effects of other forces). The same goes for phenomena of polarisation.

- One should not seek the polarisation figures in the structure of the essence of the light but in the structure of the medium, which places itself in the path of light.

- The speed of transmission is the result of a kind of friction of the light against the medium.

- Light is not to be considered as a function of electricity, but the latter is to be considered as a kind of corporeal carrier of light.

- Electrically charged matter: certain accumulations of force retain those accumulations of force, which manifest as electricity"

"We have, on the one hand, our world as it is generally observed; and we have in addition, the materialistic superstition that, for instance, if we gaze upwards, we see the Sun, a ball of gas, as it is described in books. This is nonsense. The Sun is not a ball of gas; but in that place where the Sun is, there is something less than empty space — a sucking, absorbing body, in fact, while all around it is that which exerts pressure. Consequently in that which comes to us from the Sun we have not to do with anything constituting a product of combustion in the Sun; but all that has been transmitted to the Sun from the Universe is rayed back.

Where the Sun is, is emptier than empty space. This can be said of all parts of the Universe where we find Ether. For this reason it is so difficult for the physicist to speak of Ether, for he thinks that Ether is also matter, though more rarefied than ordinary matter. Materialism is still very busy with this perpetual ‘rarefying’, both the materialism of natural science as well as the materialism of Theosophy. It distinguishes first, dense matter; then etheric matter — more rarefied; then astral matter — still more rarefied; and then there is the ‘mental’ and I do not know what else — always more and more rarefied!

The only difference (in this theory of rarefying) between the two forms of materialism is that the one recognises more degrees of rarefaction than the other. But in the transition from ponderable matter to Ether we have nothing to do with rarefaction. Anyone who believes that in Ether we have to do merely with a ‘rarefying’ process is like a man who says: ‘I have here a purse full of money; I repeatedly take from it and the money becomes less and less. I take away still more till at last none remains.’ Nothing is left — but yet he can go on! The ‘nothing’ can become less still; for if he gets into debt, his money becomes less than nothing. In the same way not only does matter become empty space, but it becomes negative, less than nothing — emptier than emptiness; it assumes a ‘sucking’ nature. Ether is sucking, absorbing. Matter presses. Ether absorbs. The Sun is an absorbing, sucking ball, and wherever Ether is present we have this absorbent force.

Here we step over into the other side, the other aspect of three-dimensional space — we pass from pressure to suction. That which immediately surrounds us in this world, that of which we are constituted as physical man and ether man, is both pressing and sucking or absorbing. We are a combination of both; whereas the Sun possesses the power of suction only, being nothing but ether, nothing but suction. It is the undulating wave of pressure and suction, ponderable matter and ether, that forms in its alternation a living organisation. And the living organism continually breathes in the astral; the breathing expresses itself through the Moon's motion or nutation. And here we begin to divine a second member or principle of the world's construction; the one member — pressure and suction, physical and etheric; the other, the second — astral. The astral is neither physical nor etheric but is continually inhaled and exhaled; and the nutation demonstrates this process."
Overview of the Levin Lab

"Seeking general principles of life-as-it-can-be, we use a wide range of natural animal models as well as create novel synthetic and chimeric life forms. A driving principle is the search for unification: invariant, scale-free principles for intelligence behavior in unfamiliar guises. We are interested in the physics of sentience, and the sentience of physics. We study cells, and cell groups as a collective intelligence, navigating diverse problem spaces such as transcriptional, physiological, and anatomical morphospace. We characterize and model the various competencies of this process, including its evolutionary origins and the implications it has for the evolutionary process itself. Much of our focus is on the control of anatomical growth and form, but we also study decision-making and problem-solving in transcriptional and protein pathways and physiological circuits. We want to understand the robust reliability of default morphogenesis, and the behavior-shaping interfaces that evolution exploits in groups of cells to enable them to create functional novel forms that were never directly evolved. Our work lives at the intersection of a number of disciplines, including developmental biology, artificial life, bioengineering, synthetic morphology, and cognitive science.

Dynamics of Information Processing in Biological Structures
Biological information comes in (at least) 2 flavors: spatial information (3-dimensional structure or topology of tissues, organs, and whole organisms), and temporal information (perceived patterns within environmental stimuli that occur in time). Both of these kinds of information need to be detected, remembered, and processed by cells and tissues to guide their function. Our lab uses a convergence of molecular biophysics and computational modeling to understand how this occurs at multiple levels of organization. The results of this effort will not only shed light on the fundamental nature of real living creatures but also will provide important clues to the capabilities of "life-as-it-could-be" in synthetic biology or hybrid cybernetic systems. The former ties our work to the biomedicine of birth defects, traumatic injury, and cancer. The latter has implications for the design of artificial life and the engineering of robust, adaptive devices and novel computational media. Altogether, we view this as a branch of information or computer science as much as it is biology.

We work on novel ways to understand and control complex pattern formation. We are especially interested in top-down controls, that exploit the native competencies of cells and tissues to make changes via communication and training strategies, not micromanagement of cells and molecular pathways. We use techniques of molecular genetics, biophysics, and computational modeling to address large-scale control of growth and form. For this purpose, we work in whole frogs and flatworms, and sometimes zebrafish and human tissues in culture. Our projects span regeneration, embryogenesis, cancer, and learning plasticity - all examples of how cellular networks process information. In all of these efforts, our goal is not only to understand the molecular mechanisms necessary for morphogenesis, but also to uncover and exploit the cooperative signaling dynamics that enable complex bodies to build and remodel themselves toward a correct structure. Our major goal is to understand how individual cell behaviors are orchestrated towards appropriate large-scale outcomes despite unpredictable environmental perturbations.
Michael Levin | General Themes of the Levin Lab's Research

We study bioelectrical signals that make up part of the language by which cells communicate to serve the patterning needs of the host organism. These natural voltage gradients exist in all cells (not just neurons), and regulate cell behavior and gene expression. We have developed new molecular tools to track and manipulate these biophysical conversations between cells and tissues in vivo. The results have yielded important findings about basic patterning, as well as new strategies to induce regenerative repair and reprogram tissues into new organs.

We have projects in development, regeneration, and cancer, as well as in the plasticity of the brain and its connection to somatic tissues. These fields are treated as distinct by most labs, funding bodies, and educational programs, but we span them because we are seeking the most fundamental aspects of biological regulation, and we hypothesize that common rules of information processing might be discovered throughout these aspects of biology. While our work will eventually give rise to practical applications in bioengineering and biomedicine, we are fundamentally interested in synthetic biology and artificial life - the understanding of living systems as cohesive, computational entities that store and process information about their shape and their environment.

We complement reductive analysis of molecular components with a synthesis designed to understand top-down controls and large-scale properties. For example, we analyze morphogenetic systems as primitive cognitive agents that manipulate information about their shape and make decisions about pattern regulation. We use techniques of artificial intelligence and neuroscience to find out what information biological tissues have, and how it is stored, processed, and communicated. Our focus on algorithmic (constructivist) computer models of patterning is an important component of linking genetic networks to complex 3-dimensional shape and its regulation in vivo. By building models of morphogenesis as navigation of an anatomical option space, we uncover the policies that cellular collectives use to navigate this space and begin to develop interventions (stimuli, not hardware rewiring) to guide them to desired regions of the space without micromanagement.

We make novel living systems (such as Xenobots), and use them as a model to understand the origin of the targeting information: how do collectives of cells, implementing a target morphology (setpoint for anatomical homeostasis) know what to make? Where do these morphogenetic specs come from? Using these synthetic living constructs, we attempt to understand how evolution builds problem-solving machines that exploit a number of "free lunch" affordances from physics, computation, etc. to produce adaptive solutions to novel environmental challenges (creative exploration of the morphospace that does not require multiple generations of selection).

Beyond Growth and Form: morphogenesis as a gateway to diverse intelligence ...
All intelligences are collective intelligences - made of parts; indeed, biological intelligences are (currently) far beyond any engineered artifact because living parts themselves used to be independent organisms. Life uses a multi-scale competency architecture where each layer, from molecular interactions to whole colonies, are solving problems in diverse spaces. Indeed, the problem-solving capacities of morphogenesis are just one type of intelligence, as per William James' definition: "ability to reach the same ends by different means". Thus, we are branching out from the collective decision-making of cells during construction and repair of bodies, to study how this process works more broadly. We are working on uncovering hidden competencies of gene-regulatory networks (and more broadly, chemical pathways) and a wide range of neural and non-neural constructs. We are attempting to use the lessons we gain from understanding this multiscale nesting of goal-directed agents to design new kinds of artificial intelligence. The goal is not to anthropomorphize physical systems but rather to provide a naturalized, continuous view of cognition across its spectrum by approaches grounded in developmental biology and evolution. All of this work is being synthesized towards a framework for understanding and relating to (whether by communication or control) truly diverse intelligences - a project that has implications not only for evolutionary biology and someday perhaps, exobiology, but also for development of ethical/social frameworks that will become essential in the future as the forms of agents around us diversify far beyond what is currently imaginable."

"Each of us takes a remarkable journey from physics to mind: we start as a blob of chemicals in an unfertilized quiescent oocyte and becomes a complex, metacognitive human being. The continuous process of transformation and emergence that we see in developmental biology reminds us that we are true collective intelligences – composed of cells which used to be individual organisms themselves. In this talk, I will describe our work on understanding how the competencies of single cells are harnessed to solve problems in anatomical space, and how evolution pivoted this scaling of intelligence into the familiar forms of cognition in the nervous system. We will talk about diverse intelligence in novel embodiments, the scaling of the cognitive light cone of all beings, and the role of developmental bioelectricity as a cognitive glue and as the interface by which mind controls matter in the body. I will also show a new synthetic life form, and discuss what it means for bioengineering and ethics of human relationships to the wider world of possible beings. We will discuss the implications of these ideas for understanding evolution, and the applications we have developed in birth defects, cancer, and traumatic injury repair. By merging deep ideas from developmental biophysics, computer science, and cognitive science, we not only get a new perspective on fundamental questions of life and mind, but also new roadmaps in regenerative medicine, biorobotics, and AI."

Anatomical homeostasis reveals that groups of cells are collective intelligences; their cognitive medium is the same as that of the human mind: electrical signals propagating in cell networks. I will explain non-neural bioelectricity and the tools we use to track the basal cognition of cells and tissues and control their function for applications in regenerative medicine.
