CONSTRUCTION OF THE MATERIAL UNIVERSE

Lesson No. 1

NATURE'S BASIC ROOT SECRET

This cosmos, which we call Creation, is a mind and thought-of-mind universe. Mind knowing and imagining is cause. Mind thinking is effect of cause.

Mind is the microcosmic, waveless zero universal equilibrium which centers the macrocosmic wave universe. Mind thoughts are extended from their centering source in undivided mind-idea to produce body forms of divided mind-imagined idea.

The centering source of power within every thought-wave extension of it is gravity. Gravity is the still white light of mind-power which centers every wave-cell of every creating thing in the universe. Gravity measures, surveys, controls and balances every wave-cell of divided light in this universe of light which man sees as dark during the first three invisible octaves of the nine octaves of Creation. Man’s senses are permitted to perceive four more octaves of light but the ninth one he cannot see in mass form for the white light of it would blind him. Man can see that white light of the ninth octave in microcosmic form in radium emanations, with the aid of a spinthariscope, but too much exposure of his body to those emanations would soon disturb the normal balance of his own body and slowly kill him.

The sum-total of the above could be expressed in these words;
This is a mind universe of light in which there is no dark. God’s mind thinks. Thinking is imagining. God’s thinking and imagining are confined to Idea only. In Idea lies all knowledge. In desire of mind to give form to idea lies all power. Desire of mind to concentrate power to give body forms to Idea is gravity. Every living thing in the universe is extended from the eternal life which lies within the zero waveless universe of static mind, to simulate the power of life.

Every living thing, thus extended into the wave universe, must give its extended body back to its centering source for renewal at the end of its wave-cycle, but the mind which centers that body is its own eternal centering source. It is one with the waveless universe, and therefore, has no cycle for renewal.

These are underlying principles of Creation which anyone can comprehend, but the control of those principles is beyond the power of any man who does not have knowledge of the methods and processes which God makes use of in projecting His imagined forms out from every cathode center of dividing in the universe to create His thought-wave universe of matter by multiplying matter to focal concentrative points. Knowledge is the purpose of the following lessons. Science desires to know how matter mysteriously appears from space to form a dynamic universe and how it is that space “swallows matter” and makes it disappear. That emergence and withdrawal is the supreme secret of the ages which these lessons will clarify.

The underlying basic secret of that emergence is the unknown fact that the entire dynamic wave universe consists solely of two opposing pressures, or tensions, which manifest their opposition as fire and water, and two opposing curved and curve-less forms which are known as the sphere and the cube.

Astonishing as it may seem water and fire, expanded and compressed within cubes and spheres, are the only tools The Creator makes use of in extending this dynamic universe of light-waves from the zero waveless universe of still white light. Seemingly incredible also is the fact that interchangings between water and fire constitute the entirety of all actions and reactions in Nature.

The basic reason for these two opposing tensions of expansion and compression is that mind-thinking actions and reactions consist of decentration to conceive idea, and concentration to give body forms to idea. These mental qualities must have their prototypes in all physical phenomena, such as the actions and reactions of expansion and compression, radiation and generation, division and multiplication, tenuity and density and evaporation and condensation. Each of these conditioning pairs is either a cooling process, which multiplies the water measure in anything, or it is a heating process which multiplies the measure of fire in anything.

All one can see in looking out into the vastness of space is the cold, blue wetness of water surrounding the incandescent dryness of red or white hot fire of countless suns. Every sun in the heavens was born from water, is sustained by water and eventually quenched by water. That which is true of the sun is true of all bodies in the universe, whether they be your body or a body of iron or granite.

White hot suns are frozen into their dense conditions by the cold vastness of space. Each fiery sun centers a vast area of water-filled space, and each reaches out to the other in wave-interchangings to simulate the eternal life from which they came by wave-breathings which gives the universe its heartbeat.

Inconceivably strange as it may seem this fact is the most basic of all facts of Nature. All life is born from water and its breathings made possible, and their continuity sustained in cycles, by interchangings between water and fire by means of the wave. This is one of the many secrets of Nature that sense observation would never reveal. Illuminates alone can know such secrets, for they alone have been permitted to see the universe as a whole.

The fact that every creation of Nature, whether gas, liquid or solid, whether organic or inorganic, and every cell within inorganic iron or organic flesh, is born from water and its condition sustained by wave interchanges between water and fire, is the most conspicuous fact of Nature when once its mechanics are thoroughly understood. When they are made clear to science it will more readily dismiss the concept which holds that this dynamic universe receives its source of motivation from energies which are within the matter of itself, instead of receiving it from the static waveless universe from which the material universe is extended.

Some familiar examples given now would help to more clearly comprehend what is to come later. Your own body is your most familiar example. Let us consider it for a moment. Your body consists solely of light-waves. Light-waves of mind-thinking constitute the breathing process of Nature. Your body lives solely because of the interchangings between water and fire which gives life to bodies which are created by water and fire. The interchanging pulsations between water and fire are so delicately balanced in your body that it must always remain at approximately 98 degrees to retain your body normalcy. To retain that temperature normalcy you must constantly add water and fire mixed foods created by the earth for that purpose. Without keeping a continuing supply of water for quenching your over-plus of body fires, and without balancing that supply with enough fuels for consuming your over-plus of water, you would soon die from the heat of high fever or from the cold of chills which no blankets or stoves could supply. These things you know. You know that every wave pulsation of your body must be sustained at, or very near to its normal frequencies, your temperature frequencies, your heartbeat frequencies and your respiration frequencies. The things you do not know in this respect is that every cell in your body, every gland and every organ of it has its own set of wave frequencies which must be sustained in their normalcies also, else one part of your body will be ill of itself, or die of itself within your living body.
