Beyond Being is part of the Official Soundtrack for our upcoming miniseries, based on the popular Persian Connection episode from the Pagan Revivalist Show, 'The Axial Revolution'

I want to give a special thank you to Gnostic Informant for helping with the pronunciation of the Attic Greek used in this track, and who's work inspired this miniseries!

The Axial Revolution will be a miniseries, part documentary, part dramatized, explaining exactly how the Axial Age came about, casting it's long shadow over ancestral faiths for almost 3,000 years. Join us as we uncover this important ancient mystery which will shake up faith-circles!

In this episode of The Axial Revolution miniseries it'll take a look at the pre-axial world & the events which started the revolution which changed the world spiritually leading us to where we are today.

Recently some people have been big mad that I have utilized AI tools in the production of The Axial Age miniseries. Lets clear it up.

As many of you are aware, the Persian Connection podcast on Pagan Revivalism was the culmination of years of research, that's why not a single person has been able to refute it, best they can do is deny it. It was so popular many people in the Pagan sphere have wanted me to make it a movie. Originally we set out to animate it; unfortunately the artist took the down-payment and left the project. After completing the screenplay, which took about 6 moons to flush out, and even asking others for advice, we used the tools available to us without an artist. Instead, this is a hybrid approach, very much like rotoscoping back in the day. Real life people, real life voices, though we used AI models to replace the actors and sets with AI reskins. Only a handful of scenes are fully AI, which you will know right away because we forgot to film them.

But you may be asking, why write a post about it, well let's get into it.

Something entirely created by AI, from production to publishing, that's AI slop I agree. It is whats called content farming. A machine can produce multiple videos on a variety of topics, however it does not have that human touch. If something was CGI, you would still know it was made by a human for consistency, quality checks and the story itself. As of right now we have 27 episodes which will show and tell about the history you'll find out on the Persian Connection podcast, as well as a meta-narrative across all of those episodes as to why it should matter to you and why returning to ancestral faiths is the solution. That is something you could never see from a machine alone.

I want to make this high budget. For years we have had the guy in his room or the slideshow with stock-footage reels with voice over. Those have their place and would have been infinitely easier than trying to make it as informative as it is entertaining. We deserve something high budget, because ancient religions pioneered the arts, there's a reason why our legends, our architecture, our civilizations remain relevant today. I have never asked for a single penny from any of you guys. I am funding this out of my own pockets, to make something that looks high budget, and it's entertaining for all of you for free. Also I am not going to steal other people's content and get copyright striken lol.

To the complainers: the only individual who makes content regularly who is totally against AI tech is Dan Capp, he is a content creator that is consistent, so I'll give props. All of these other people don't make anything themselves or, have themselves, utilized AI tools. You may be saying, "but your feeding the machine though." To which I say, if you have ever been online, you have been feeding the machine whether you want to or not. What this is, is crab-bucket syndrome. "Why didn't you just hire another artist," you might be asking? Short answer, I already tried that but the cost was extremely high, we could at best create one or two episodes per year, and on top of that one of them already ran off with my money. So in short, if you were faced with that what would you do? I have supported artists for years, and the time I utilize tools, to make my thing a reality, as a backup of a backup plan gets referred to as slop. This is why people hate you, do you understand? This is why many in the art community refer to themselves as starving artists, because everyone of them thinks they should get paid for a 2 hour drawing like it was a rembrandt. Actual artists have supported what I have done and I have consulted them in my direction. Bitches are gonna bitch, and personally I care more about my actual fans then somebody trying to police my work because I didn't hire you mr. $11,065 per 15 minute episode. Stay mad, yes I did not hire you because it was outrageous. Financially times our hard for everyone, I have never asked for a single donation, and I was willing to pay handsomely for an artist, but both gave me a very sour impression of that craft, and perhaps that should change. If you want the series not to be AI, then I think you should fund it; otherwise, don't be a crab in the bucket trying to drag people back in to being a loser like yourself.

To everyone else: I appreciate all of the support over the years. We are going to make something entertaining that you can watch on your television. When I ran this by some faith leaders and some other artists and folks, as a test audience, they were very pleased with what they saw and wanted more. I took their critiques seriously, and modified the project along the way so that it can be the best product I can give you. Though I don't have a crystal ball, we should be releasing this as a YouTube premiere hopefully, Gods willing, next weekend. When we have it uploaded we will be advertising the date of release!
