3 Deadly mistakes you must know before applying to University this year ❗️

1) Undermining the importance of SAT πŸ“„: While it's true that most of the universities don't require to submit SAT score however the only way you can prove your academic excellence is either through A levels or SAT. University admissions can't evaluate the local course load therefore they put importance on standardized testing.

2) Thinking that you still have time ⏰: From our experience most students fail with time management. They end up submitting the worst essay that they wrote but how so ? Because they believe that they . Remember ! great essays take time and effort. If you want to get into top universities, you must dedicate time for the essay.

3) Not asking people πŸ—£ : It's very common especially amongst international students to hide their application and submit it without reviewing. It's not about the insecurity but envy. Most students don't want to show their application in order to avoid copying but trust the person who copied you will not get a high chance since it's not what's reflecting on the other parts of their application.

Should I make Extracurricular Activities related to my major ? πŸ”ˆ

Make them diverse ❗️ From our 3 year experience and interviews we concluded that diverse Extracurricular activities really adds up to your application.

It really proves that you are accomplished at every area of your life and you are an interesting person.

In Central Asia there is a stereotype between students and people that the person should only be focused on one area of their life and they should be perfect at it. In reality, what we see is most Top University students combine both work, EC’s, Work out, hobbies all together.

However, we don’t recommend fully being diverse. There should be certain amount of relevance in parts of your application.

Would you like to learn about the relevant parts ? Put + in the comments πŸ‘‡
3 Essential things that should be relevant if you are applying this year ⚑️

Internships ⚑️: We often suggest our students to be more relevant to their major when it comes to internship that they are doing. The relevant internship may boost up your chances of getting in by proving that you have hands on experience and you know what you’re trying to study.

Clubs & Initiatives 🎑: When you open up a school club in your high school, make it relevant to your major. You’re doing accounting ? Open finance club at your school.

Research opportunities πŸ”¬: Two of our students applying for molecular biology and guess what they are doing ? They got accepted to research program with full funding about water contamination. Is it relevant ? of course it is.

Which one did you do so far ? Did you do an internship ? πŸ‘‡

"iye oka SAT ni bosvomman hozir" πŸ‘‡

Many students are delusional. They think that if they focus on one thing in their application they can get back to other things later. No it doesn't work like that (at least for university application)

One thing I taught my students that I am proud of is the ability to overcome procrastination. They not only studied in the program, but they built immense discipline. One student who had like 3 month ahead, told me that. Dear teacher, I wanna focus on my SAT/IELTS first and after I take them, I will start working on my application and guess what he got. He ended up with a bad SAT/IELTS score plus he doesn't have his application ready. Just think about it, imagine at that time he at least started doing the tasks that I gave him. He could get his personal statement ready for the application.

I call it a B plan. If you mess up your SAT/IELTS at least you will have your application ready until the cycle. At least you will be able to apply, but those who were thinking I will prepare for SAT for 3 month and for IELTS 3 month and my application. They end up blaming the weather before the test, or they were sick in the test therefore they messed up. If you step once a day, you will run the whole marathon.

Get that mess out of your head, and start working on your application. There is no excuses left for you. You used up everything, the weather the sickness, the exam question being hard literally everything. So get yourself together and start acting.
"Men scholarship yutmasam o'qimiman πŸ€‘"

Common phrase that can be heard amongst students in Uzbekistan. Before you even start your IELTS/SAT, think about your purpose. Is that really studying or going to see foreign countries. If you wanna travel around, it's not the best option. I've been out only twice throughout the whole year and I've been bleeding from nose and sacrificing my sleep a lot🩸

If your purpose is studying, then you need to pay. There is nothing in this world, at least in 21st century that you can get for free. Education has never been free and will never be. In England, only royal family could study.

The best ever investment in this world is not real estate, not business, not trading. It's education. Now tell me which billionaire rejected this idea. I have watched every billionaire at least one video, and all they say is to invest in education πŸ’΅

Stop saying that stereotypical phrase that has been instilled by random Consulting Agencies. I am not saying you can't study for free. Indeed there are people whose tuition and expenses are covered, but they are not too much. You should be exceptional with a good luck to get free education. So take it as a feedback.

Are you ready to pay some amount for your future ? πŸ‘‡

You are trying to get into University, here is your mind map πŸ‘‡πŸŒŽ

1) You first need to take your IELTS test as universities require a proof of English proficiency
2) SAT- universities can not asses the applications of international students therefore you have to show them that you actually can handle American/Canadian educational curriculum
3) AP/ IB / A level exams - The best or even better way to show the universities that you are good at school
4) Personal statement- simply the way how you see the world and express it. Chance to show yourself and your traits
5) CSS/ ISFAA- Proof of your financial condition and need

You guys want more of that ? let me know in the comments πŸ‘‡
