For 30 years, Singapore has been home to Msgr Peter Zhang.

What began as a journey from China to Singapore for seminary formation became a lifelong calling to serve the Church here. Today, he gives back by forming future priests and fostering interreligious dialogue.

This September, in observance of the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees, we honour the quiet sacrifices of our migrant workers and caregivers. Behind every heavy shift and long hour lies a parent's deepest hope: that Even Just One of These Children can grow up with opportunity, dignity, and a brighter tomorrow.

This year's theme, "Even Just One of These Children," reminds us that every child has infinite dignity and deserves to be welcomed, protected, and given the opportunity to flourish.
