Govt Launches Countrywide Soil Analysis Campaign
(NAIS ) Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO says government has intensified a countrywide soil analysis campaign aimed at promoting proper lime application and boosting crop yields.Mr MTOLO says the initiative comes in response to growing concerns over declining soil fertility in various parts of the country. He noted that many farmers continue to apply fertiliser without understanding the specific needs of their soils, resulting into poor harvests and rising input costs.Mr MTOLO has emphasized that soil acidity has become a major obstacle to agricultural productivity, especially in areas where lime application has been not being utilized. He said this when he officiated at the Corteva Agri-science National Field Day and the launch of P3531W in Chipata district, Eastern province.Corteva Agri- science Managing Director SAMSON NYENDWA has pledged to partner with government in achieving the 10 million metric tonnes maize production target by the year 2027.#soilhealth #soil

OUR SATURDAY MORNING BIBLE VERSE

Here is your word for today:

Verse: Colossians 1:17

"He existed before anything else did, and He holds ALL things together."

- Let me remind you that HE (The Lord) holds ALL things together.
- Nothing falls outside of His ‘holding power’ and that includes your life.
- It’s in God’s very nature to hold things, and to hold things together.
- He is holding you, and He is holding your situation, so rest in Him.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that I don’t need to trust in temporary and fleeting things, but I can trust in You, the Eternal God. You have my life and my future in Your hands, and I can rest secure in Your care and ability. Amen.

Have an awesome Saturday.
Kind Regards

#SNAPSHOT IN HISTORY-Hill 752, Arakan campaign, WW2.

WHEN the 1st Northern Rhodesia Regiment, A Company of the Kings African Rifles attacked "Hill 752" the leading troops were grenaded and sniped by the Japanese soldiers from the summit. Bren gunner Lance Corporal Chashi and two privates returned fire until one of the privates was killed. Chashi then broke cover and bravely charged up the slopes firing his Bren gun from the hip to destroy the Japanese held enemy summit. For his act of conspicuous bravery Chashi received the prestigious award of the British Military Medal. At about the same time "Hill 852" was attacked and overrun but not without several casualties to the regiment.

When the Japanese forces regrouped at Kalewa the 1st Northern Rhodesia Regiment was in hot pursuit. Eventually. Kalewa was occupied by both the Kings African Rifles and Northern Rhodesia Regiment troops. It is interesting to note that both the Northern Rhodesia Regiment and Africa...

LET US PRAY...

Dear God!

We thank You, for this far you've brought us. You didn't bring us this far to have us stop along the way, no but to take us to our promised destination.

We bring burdens to you who knows our situations.

Protect, provide to us, and comfort our hearts; give us courage to soldier on.

We pray with thanksgiving in our hearts, Amen!
