🇷🇺 Roscosmos conducted the first test launch of the new-generation launch vehicle "Soyuz-5" - it took off from Baikonur. "Soyuz-5" is a rocket with the most powerful liquid-fuel engine in the world.

The first and second stages operated normally, and the scale model has already been brought to the calculated suborbital trajectory. After that, it will fall into a previously closed area for shipping and aviation in the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

The use of the "Soyuz-5" rocket will reduce the cost of launching payloads and double the mass of the payload being launched - up to 17 tons.
