Dear community members, after phased development and internal testing by community developers, XDAG 0.8.0 version has been prepared and is now officially open for community public beta testing. The community developers have completed the development of the Rust-based XDAG-Plus wallet,which is now officially launched.

XDAG V0.8.0 Mainnet Upgrade Announcement

After two rounds of public beta testing by the community, the XDAG V0.8.0 mainnet upgrade is ready, and the relevant work arrangements for the upgrade are as follows:

I. Upgrade Time
Start Time: 12:00, May 28 (UTC+0)
End Time: subject to the announcement
Snapshot data: 12:00 on May 28, 2025 (UTC+0).
Upgraded version: XDAGj-V0.8.0

II. Impact Assessment
After the mainnet is upgraded to 0.8.0, the mainnet will have the following impacts:
1. Wallet users
Historical transactions before the wallet snapshot point in time are no longer displayed after upgrading. After the mainnet is upgraded to V0.8.0, users need to upgrade and download to the latest wallet, which will be released in the near future
2. Trading platform
a. If the platform runs its own node, please stop the node operation at least 1 day in advance, suspend the deposit and withdrawal, and resume the deposit and withdrawal after upgrading the platform node to V0.8.0 in the future.
b. If the platform adopts the RPC wallet method, please update and upgrade to the latest Go wallet:

Due to the snapshot upgrade method, if the trading platform adopts the transfer note entry method, please be sure to complete the users' deposit request before the mainnet upgrade time to avoid disputes.
