XDAG Mainnet Emergency Upgrade Announcement

In order to solve the risks and ensure the smooth mainnet upgrade, it is necessary to urgently upgrade the mainnet snapshot, and the relevant work arrangements for the upgrade are as follows:
I. Upgrade Time
Start: 12:00 Jan 20 (UTC)
End time: Subject to announcement
Snapshot data: 12:00, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

II. Impact assessment
The mainnet upgrade will have the following impacts:
A. Transfer history
Snapshot upgrade, wallet addresses will delete historical transfer data before January 20, 2026 12:00 (UTC).
B. Trading Platform
Please ensure that all platform user deposit applications are processed before the mainnet upgrade time to avoid disputes.

III. Upgrade Instructions
All node operators are requested to stop the operation of their nodes before 11:30 (UTC) on January 20, and restart their nodes and join the mainnet under the guidance of community members after the mainnet upgrade is completed.

The community has recently completed the V0.8.1 public beta and is now preparing for the mainnet upgrade. The relevant work arrangements are as follows:

Ⅰ Upgrade Arrangement

Start Time:
April 10th, 12:00 (UTC)

End Time:
Subject to official announcement

Snapshot Data:
April 10th, 2026, 12:00 (UTC)

Upgrade Content:

1. Support for variable transaction fees and sorting

2. Fix the issue of abnormal node data loading

Ⅱ Impact Assessment
This mainnet upgrade will have the following impacts:

A. Transaction History
During the snapshot upgrade, wallet addresses will have all historical transaction data prior to April 10th, 2026, 12:00 (UTC) deleted.

B. Trading Platforms
Trading platforms are requested to ensure that all user deposit requests are processed before the mainnet upgrade time to avoid disputes.

III. Upgrade Instructions

All node operators are requested to stop running their nodes before 11:30 AM (UTC) on April 10th, and restart their nodes and join the mainnet under the guidance of community members after the mainnet upgrade is complete.
