Yeah, this is an old boomer TV show.... hear me out. Every one of you wants a wife like this.

My dad was an owner operator in the 70s way before CDLs. In the summer he and mom would team drive to make as much money as they could. Back then there were no electronic scales at the weigh station. They were all counterweights in a pit and a big ass gauge in the scalehouse. So if they were over weight, he and mom would swap drivers and make sure that she popped the air brakes when she pulled onto the scale. We could see the big ass needle swinging back and forth in the scale house and the scale master cuss about a woman driver would just wave her thru.

Dad rather enjoyed this "woman driver" shit... until.... we were approaching Fancy Gap on I-77 and mom saw that hill and paniced. She stopped the truck at the foot of the hill and told dad he would have to drive it. So he got to start up that grade from 0 MPH. And to add to it, all the trucks passing us going up that grade where laughing on the radio at that dumb ass in the slow truck.
