Tales from the paper mill: At an undisclosed mill in South Carolina, a contractor rode the belted manlift up. He tied a 5 gallon bucket to his belt and it had a crowbar in it. He went thru one of the floor holes and 6' later the crowbar and bucket got caught and pulled him off the man lift. It's the only accident I ever heard of at that site involving a manlift. They shut all of them down and eventually removed them.
