Serving the LORD daily means actively living with purpose; walking in faith while remembering the promises and blessings made by God, that lead, guide and sustain us.

Every day we wake up with breath in our lungs, is a blessing; a day that brings opportunities to honour and serve God through simple acts of obedience.

We can do this by leading by example, showing kindness, forgiving others, sharing the Word of God, working with a grateful heart, working for God not man, and being encouraging to others.

Colossians 3:23 says: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

And 1 Corinthians 15:58 says: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

So we see from these two verses, that everything we do, we must do for God, and when we do, it is not in vain. So in every action and word, do unto the Father.

As we pray, study His Word, and trust His timing, we anchor ourselves in His truth and His promises; knowing that He will NEVER leave us, nor forsake us, will always supply our needs, and will finish the work He began in us!

Each day lived for the LORD becomes a testimony that His promises are real, His power is near, and His love is unchanging.

All things work together for good to those who love God, the Bible declares.

So love God, seek Him, serve Him and trust in Him. He will provide!
