I'm watching the news media vilify Trump for tariffs. There's talk about how it's hurting the stock prices of company's like Nike. The question should be why weren't they building their products in the US instead of how bad Trump's tariffs are. The city near me lost a battery factory, cabinet factory, a paint company and Caterpillar hydraulics just closed last year. My town went from 43000 people to 26000 people in two years from 1995 to 1997 thanks to nafta and trade with China. What's left in my town now are people who commute to the next bigger city and drug dealers.

I don't trust Trump any further than I can throw him but every chance you get, ask why GM wasn't making American pickup trucks in America the whole time. Ask why F150s are made in Mexico. Don't allow them to control the narrative about how much tariffs hurt companies.
