I was just working outside and thinking while going 3mph on a tractor. Despite speaking several languages, white man was able to use written language to share ideas. So we have this succession of ideas from an italian named Volta, to Faraday, to Tesla, to Heinrich Herz. all spoke different languages but added to each other's work because ideas could be shared because they were written down.

Interesting take away from the story. The police and courts tell us they put an ankle monitor on people released from jail on bond. We are to feel safer. Yet this story says that a 16 year old was out on bond with an ankle monitor that had not been charged since Dec 4. At what point were the police going to check on this ankle monitor??? they have had 2 1/2 weeks.

16-year-old involved in chase had criminal history

Lott said the 16-year-old arrested early Monday morning had a lengthy criminal history and was on an ankle monitor. That monitor had not been charged since Dec. 4

Before the chase began, the teen had a pickup order for the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ).

Lott also mentioned the same 16-year-old was in the custody of the DJJ previously for choking a police officer.

“I am not going to call them kids, they don’t deserve that,” he said.
