Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures
• Monitor adherence to CBN regulations and AML/KYC requirements
• Conduct internal audits and control reviews
• Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks
• Investigate fraud and irregularities
• Train staff on compliance and internal control practices
• Prepare compliance reports for regulators and management
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
• Audit and internal control expertise
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Risk assessment and analytical skills
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field
• 5–10 years experience in compliance/audit
• Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CISA – preferred)
