Greta Garbo (18 September 1905 in Stockholm as Greta Lovisa Gustafsson; 15 April 1990 in New York) was a Swedish film actress. Garbo took on tragic female roles in numerous American films, especially in the late 1920s and in the 1930s. She is considered one of the greatest film legends that Hollywood has ever produced. Her presence was described by critics with nicknames such as the Divine, Swedish Sphinx or Dream Princess of Eternity.
She also made a big impression on audiences and critics with a role in the German film "The Joyless Street" (1925), which G. W. Pabst shot in Berlin with Asta Nielsen, Werner Krauß and Greta Garbo. When Hollywood mogul and MGM co-founder Louis B. Mayer saw this film, he hired Garbo to travel to Hollywood with her discoverer.

I think sometimes we forget how useful some of these older, basic skills can be.
Grinding your own grain into flour is a good example. It's not something most of us need to do every day, but knowing how to do it gives us one more way to rely a little less on the systems around us.
Every skill we learn makes us a little more prepared and a little more self-reliant. And that can make a difference not only for ourselves, but for our families and even our communities.
I thought this was a skill worth sharing. I hope you find it useful.
