Catching up with #RobertTheBruce at #MelroseAbbey in the Scottish Borders. (@abbey_church #Dunfermline, #Scotland). Some say he's buried in the Abby, but as you can see, he's still standing strong. There was, however, nearly trouble when he heard my perfect accent. 😎

Our Love for the Anglo-Celtic Isles

[1080p Edition for Telegram]
The climate of #Britain, #Ireland, & and #Europe mightn't appeal to everyone. The unexplainable, magnetic connection we have for our true home is why #WeAreWhoWeAre 💚

I've been to many countries that never gave me feeling of home what so ever. Being in Scotland and hearing the music that paints a picture of it's brilliance has always felt right.

As if a fish escaping it's bowl, nature calls us home one way or another.

These Isles and all therein belongs to us. Between one's love for London, England and the Isles in which we derive, it's clear that my home is by no means a static spot, but the entirety of the Anglo-Celtic Isles.

#Resurrectionists - Grave Diggers of the Medical Industry 🩸 ☠️ #GreyfriarsKirkyard #Edinburgh #Scotland

1080p for X/Telegram

This is a special feature covering a dark, sinister topic that occurred during the medical industries early breakthroughs. Pubs from #Edinburgh to #London would be an incredibly dangerous place to show signs of illness or to discuss a family death. The murders of #BurkeAndHare exposed a sickening trade that was promoted by a morally corrupt medical industry. Join me in one of Scotlands beautiful kirkyards to discuss an embarrassing, disturbing secret of Britain's academic and criminal past.

For the love of #doors,

#WhiteHorseClose is an enclosed courtyard just off the #Canongate at the foot of the #RoyalMile at the eastern end of the #OldTown of #Edinburgh, #Scotland. The courtyard is named after Mary Queen of Scots' favourite horse.

Observe and admire this breathtaking, historic fireplace in one of the old Abby towers at #DunfermlineAbbey and Palace at St Margaret’s Street, #Dunfermline, #Fife, #Scotland. Though it's difficult to date accurately, one can only imagine the conversations heard by this fireplace.

This pub and the stories linked to it are of incredible significance to the history of #Scotland, #Britain and the beauty of the written word. Join me as I briefly discuss what makes this pub and the subjects within so incredibly special. I've tried to keep it short but could have said so much more what with this public house being in such an iconic location.

Behold the exquisite detail of this statue in #DunfermlineAbbey, #Fife, #Scotland. Erected in 1867 by the widow of Major General the Hon. Robert Bruce. His feet being crossed indicates that he was a crusader. The effort that's gone into this beautiful piece of art represents the value of the man in question, and the authenticity of his wife's love. Her love, lives on, beautifully and eternally in death. A lesson for the ungrateful living among us, centures later.

There's absolutely no denying that historic architecture built for accommodation, battle, or worship is still far superior in class, quality, and presentation than that of contemporary architecture.

One of the many reasons I adore cemeteries is that they're the only place one can truly experience the past. Very little traces of modernity are ever present compared to their historic aesthetic. Walking into Britain's cemeteries is to experience the same sights as our recent ancestors.

Observe the closes and faces of #Glasgow, #Scotland between the years of 1868-1877. I wonder what happened to them. The harships of the past were always solvable if only the powers that be had ever wished to solve them.

This ladies and gentlemen is a Whales tooth with a detailed drawing of the Wiscasset sailing ship in 1836. We found this legendary antique while visiting the #AndrewCarnegie Birthplace Museum in #Dunfermline, #Fife, #Scotland. WHAT a conversation starter, fit for any mantlepiece.

This 1977 documentary named "In One End" covers some beautiful pubs. The first clip is of a man discussing his survival of a major flood that occurred in 1953. The #NorthSeaflood of 1953 caused major damage, injuries, and deaths across #Scotland, #England, #Belgium, and #The Netherlands. It's even been labelled as one of the worst peacetime disasters of the 20th century. 307 people from #England perished, 19 in Scotland, 28 died in Belgium, 1,836 in the Netherlands, and a further 361 people perished at sea. From the sounds of it, he and others were very nearly swept to sea. Saved by the pub! 🍻🏆(Part 1)
