The world is changing, much to the detriment of our kin, our culture, our archaeology, our history & our overall existence as western people.

Join us as we shed some light into the darker parts of today, reminding us all what makes the west so glorious.

This one's chilling. This is a vintage photo of an old weaver's house in #BethnalGreen, East #London, #England. The simplicity of this image is chillingly fascinating. No street signs, no CARS, no yellow lines, and most importantly, not a trace of modernity to ruin its horizon.
Like the elderly, the majority of pubs that were here long before us have been abandoned and forgotten.

May We Remember
(9/11) 🏙

Behind me is a piece of the twin towers that now sits in #Stratford, #London. As each year passes, we become a little more desensitised to such horrors. 23 years on, and if feels as though we've learnt nothing.

This video was filmed in April of 1896 outside the #EmpireTheatre, #LeicesterSquare, #London. I'd give anything to see the pubs that were trading during the time. Make sure you turn up the sound. As loud as London used to be, the sounds of the past are far better than the vehicle ridden noise box of today.

This one will be incredibly nostalgic for many from east #London, #Essex, etc. A drive-through #MileEnd towards #Whitechapel in the 90s. Once again, this one's a little too close to home for comfort as it brings about known memories and memories I'd no idea I'd been harbouring.
A glorious, antique photograph of the #Wine Vaults in #London Docks. Nowadays our alcohol arrives on lorries, planes and big, boring ships. Once, our booze adventured the seven seas the old fashioned way just so #England's wine lovers could indulge. 🍷 @lostandlivingpubs
