CALIFORNIA ON TRACK TO IMPLEMENT A PER-MILE TAX BY NEXT YEAR
People protest ICE, but ignore this: 41 CA Democrats voted in the State Assembly to potentially impose a 2 to 9 cent per mile tax on drivers and the amount owed would be tracked by a vehicle’s odometer.

Before codifying this, a California Transportation Commission will first be tasked with providing recommendations on how costly it should be, ranging anywhere from $1,200 to $4,200 per year per family.

Compound this onto Joe Biden’s surveillance law mandating cars past 2026 must come with a kill switch that shuts off the car if “impairment” is detected. And then imagine this being extended to political behaviors, like evading your mileage tax.

UPDATE: A Saturday morning crash involving nearly 60 vehicles in Central California's Tulare County forced the temporary closure of Highway 99 in both directions at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. Ten people were taken to a local hospital for injuries. Updates on their conditions were not immediately available. CHP investigators believe fog was a factor, estimating there was between 100 to 200 feet of visibility at the time of the chain-reaction crash. But Highway 99 fully reopened by 2:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the CHP.

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson makes clear that her city doesn’t need a Signal chats. Instead she’s going to mobilize the actual police force to do what Signal networks do in Minneapolis.

She will even have the SPD relay intel gathered on federal agents to “community partners” and ban usage of city property by agents. Katie is a former professional protestor. She’s manipulating her office as mayor of one of the most powerful cities in the country to aid and abet domestic terrorists today, and resist the federal government.
