Keeping a close eye on a system developing in the southwestern Caribbean Sea, that has an 80% chance for tropical development within the next 72 hours. Models show this storm could strengthen rather quickly in the Gulf of Mexico and make landfall anywhere between the Texas and Louisiana coast. There’s still many uncertainties, however, Texas costal and Louisiana coastal areas should keep a very close eye on this forecast in the next few days as this develops.
