Johnny Hurley heroically spoke out against injustice for years and when his time came to walk the talk he risked his life to stop an active shooter who had just killed an Arvada Police Officer. Sadly he was shot in the back without warning by responding APD Officer Kraig Brownlow, who claimed he thought there was a second shooter.
Today we light one up and pour one out for Johnny Hurley. Join us in Olde Town Arvada Square from 1-5pm as we honor the hero - our dear friend Johnny - who put it all on the line.
