π€© Duel milestones β basics:
- Jars are limited in time for 7 days.
- The maximum jar on the screenshot is given for 350 energies. The value will most likely be changed, but right now it turns out that you have to spend 50 energies per day, which is about 5 uncommons for the highest, 3 uncs for the middle, and 1 for the lowest. As for 1 for the lowest, I'm pretty sure that's a good starting point.
- There's no tie to rarities and leagues. And that means recovered floor on uncommons and 6-7lv commons. I think the main battles to rack up the scale will happen there. I think this is the first time since last summer that I bought 5 uncommons and 10 7th level commons within minutes of the announcement before everyone woke up. I hope I didn't miss out. (DYOR, something might change, especially the amount of energy for the highest can)
- We have a chance to get lootbox from the jar
- Size of rewards is unclear. The lootbox odds, I think, definitely won't be as high as the seventh day jar. Nevertheless, I'm sure their opening will be worth it.
- The developers clearly understand that dueling for cans will be mostly in leagues for commons and uncs. Together with the introduction of a ranking system for all PVE, this looks like the beginning of a major campaign to get players involved in duels. Sounds pretty cool to me.
- Whales or little whales who are currently dueling in leagues above will get an extra incentive to keep dueling.
- In my opinion this is a very positive update. Duels are cool, but have a fundamental problem - increasing complexity. I think this is well understood by the developers and right now we're seeing the first step in breathing new life into the cool mechanics.

π§ My thoughts regarding wlkn price reduction.
π½ We all see this decrease and I feel this anxiety too guys. Letβs dive a little for what happened in my opinion.
π At the previous time Walken was exposed by gem abusers. They built farms with tens of phones, shake them everyday with phone shakers and took enormous advantage. The smartest ones didnβt just level up cats for resale, they breeded cats again and again, made good profits. That was like one guy plays as 10-20-50 guys.
π Recently Walken devs made serious steps to provide fair environment for everyone by limiting the amount of gems received everyday. Multi accounting, shaking and other abusive mechanics worth it only when there is a good risk/reward proportion.
Risk β increased. Walken start to ban accounts with the help of enhanced anti fraud system, which both can find multi accounts and shaking steps.
Reward β decreased. Abusers can only obtain 35 gems a day. Even for 10 phones, thatβs too much time and too much time risk.
βΌοΈ The $wlkn price start to decrease exactly at the time of new duel x3 mechanics announcement. Before this token was stable around 0.05. The problem was that this reward system had an exploit when abusers could fight with naked legendary at one phone and many dressed commons at other phone. This mechanics was shut down quickly, but fail of the token starts.
After that in a short time Walken released a new limit system and risk-reward for phone shakers abusers start to be not so good, they decided to quit the game.
π So that is my opinion what happened β Walken now is much more free from abusing guys then before, but this guys led to token drop. All these things happened simultaneously with the whole altcoin price drop (look at $matic graph for example).
βοΈ Whatβs next?
IDK. I only know that Walken itself is long-term project, they always show this not with words, but with deeds. I always donβt like βpredictorsβ β no one knows future. But I have facts:
Walken have great plans for CUZE ecosystem which is already start to rolling up with Walken Runner.
Cuze ecosystem is a double profit combo:
1. Devs will use fiat money from ads to make buybacks of wlkn.
2. These games will be advertised in a web2 style. As a reminder, Walken team have huge experience in developing and advertising web2 apps at the past.
Walken is already start rolling up ads at the app. Which are not necessary to watch, but if you want β why not. Thatβs another source for buybacks.
In Russian ama Konstantin Kozlovsky mentioned that walken is preparing to start burning $wlkn. As a reminder, $wlkn has a limited supply.
At the moment I am waiting for multi chain integration and new DEX listings.
π¬ Resume
Game was cleansed from abusers. Devs have long-term clear plans. They hear us and try to make all the best. Updates frequency is great, Walken becomes more and more interesting.
Only you can decide to be bullish on project or bearish. I think the game didnβt unlock the potential yet and I will definitely wait for bullish market with my cathletes, developing Walken Top to make your game more profitable.

π₯ I was surprised to find thoughts in chats that token burning may have any negative effect on project economics. The fact is that burning is just used to increase the value of the coin by cryptoprojects. It is a great tool to stabilize the economy in case something goes wrong, to increase the attractiveness of the coin for investors.
I'm sure that's exactly what Walken was aiming for. Reducing the total number of coins means that the remaining, unburned coins will become more valuable. My opinion is a definite positive. However, such one-time promotions can have a short-term effect, meaning that if the team has embraced a deflationary model - you need to burn coins all the time.
I guess the voting at the next week will be exactly about constant token burning.

π±Walken 2.0.
Part One. A completely reinvented economy of the game awaits us.
πΌ Don't be scared, let's break it down in order. This is the kind of update Walken hasn't seen yet.
π΅ Token unlocks.
Extremely positive moment. I assume that the administration has already negotiated with investors for an extra lock for a year. Introducing an extra lock for 2 years for the team is a great move too. I, as you know, don't like predictions, but many crypto experts agree that the bullrun will start in the first or second quarter of 2024. That's about a year from now.
Investors aren't really interested in a couple of X's in a year. Crypto investments are high-risk. If Walken has a good relationship with investors - everyone understands that invested coins are better to hold. I think the team offered a good stake percentage for these coins to motivate investors to lock in extra for a year.
π₯ Transition to a deflationary system.
More recently, the first token burn occurred. The market instantly reacted with a 20% increase in the coin. Now such burns will occur every month. The main question is β at the expense of whom? At the expense of players' investments and buybacks from Cuze ecosystem games. 10% of the coins going into the prize pool will be burned.
Is that good or bad? In my opinion, good. You'll essentially be getting 10% less coins in a completely revamped PVE, but the rate of that coin will definitely react positively.
π§ Totally new PVE mode.
Fully updated battles are waiting for us, which will be affected only by the ranks, level of cats and the rarity of cats. Battles will take place in automatic mode. This is a kind of staking - you collect packs of 5 cats, send them to fight, after 3 days you will receive rewards. The number of such packs is unlimited. The same cats will be able to fight in pvp at the same time. Participation in such competitions will require some kind of tickets. I assume that some number of tickets will be given through quests/lottery, some will be bought, and some will be completely free.
Seems okay, but it's unclear what kind of rewards there will be. To calculate everything in the new model you need to see how it will work in live mode. Rewards will depend on the activity of the players of the whole Walken. The prize pool is made up of coins from breeding, lvl-ups, other activities, as well as the success of the Cuze ecosystem is highly needed.
Rewards in PVE will be random. We'll be farming chests, which will fall with a certain probability depending on the team of cathlets you stick in a pack of 5. I've seen farming chests before somewhere (stepn), well, elements of randomness will diversify the gameplay, we're playing a game after all, don't forget. Inside the chests will be, as always, coins, gems, berries, and in the example screenshot there is a lootbox for the chest of the highest dash.
π€Ί Improved PVP mode.
Pvp right now has a fundamental problem: increasing difficulty. The developers are still "exploring PVP concepts," but promise to "provide you with an even more immersive and rewarding experience." Absolutely nothing is clear here. PVP needs to be reformed, the developers understand that, that's the main thing. Time will tell how successful these reforms will be.

π±Walken 2.0.
Part 2. I voted Yes.
π§ Walken has been struggling the last few months - coin was dropping, people were quitting PVP en masse. It's time for reform.
The updated PVE will finally remove the most boring format - everyday routine click of cats. After about a month of playing (I play since the start of open beta) I stopped looking at the opponents, I usually turn on YouTube and do these mechanical clicks. This is such a boring element of the game, that I never even thought about getting, letβs say, 100 cats. The whole question is about the rewards for the new PVE - will they stay at the same level in recounts or will they be nerfed? It seems to me, that will be nerfed, however, now it will be almost nothing to do - you buy cats, you stake them for 3 days, they themselves farm all there.
Burning token is a definite positive. I think that the second year of the project should go under the auspices of marketing. Guys need to seriously expand their marketing activities for CUZE and the project as a whole. The marketing team needs to be strengthened significantly. I see that's exactly what's planned in the roadmap.
π€Ί A very big focus for the developers is to update the PVP mechanics. It is necessary to do the most difficult task - to remove the ever-increasing complexity of duels. To some extent, this task will be solved by the reformatted PVE, because now cats will be able to participate in both modes simultaneously. That means the only reason not to participate in PVP is if you'll constantly lose money.
We and you will definitely think through strategies to earn as soon as all the mechanics and rewards become clear. They will be 100%, the developers understand that no one will play at a disadvantage.
π΅ Overall I have a positive attitude about the game and coin. Sharp investor lockups is something that the community didn't even consider as a possible option. This is the best option for the project. We have to wait for the bullrun of the whole crypto.
However, with all of this undetermined positivity so far, there is a very real and very powerful red flag, which I will write about in the third post.

π© Walken 2.0.
Part 3. Red Flag.
One week ago we faced with sudden restriction on selling assets. Walken administration said it was to fight flippers. Restricting the economy should not be allowed. People should be able to sell their assets and withdraw money. The job of the developers is to make it so that you don't want to do that at all. For the coins to circulate within the ecosystem instead of withdrawing. To make it interesting for people to play and build long-term development strategies. For people not to withdraw their earnings to usd, but to build up their assets.
Together with today's, I will not dare say it, grandiose update, very quietly and without any announcements, another innovation came to us:
π Limiting Cat Sales.
Again and in ridiculous way.
From now on, you can put up to three cats or items for sale, just like before. But now the next cat, after those three, you can only put up 72 hours after the sale was made. 72 hours start counting after successful sale for each slot separately.
I can't see this in any way other than the developers' fear of a panic sale. But why they are waiting for a panic-sale at the announcement of such positive news is a very good question. Maybe there's something we don't know.
Yes, yes, your squad of 20 cats that every old player usually has now has to sell for months. Also, someone has to buy those cats. Absolutely all players are now locked into their assets. My regrets to those who have been building up the number of cats the whole year and have gotten them to, say, 100. Even if you weren't thinking of quitting - your assets are now worthless because you just can't physically sell them.
π The update is extremely destructive. On the one hand it gives people fear to buy more cats per account because now you can't sell them. On the other hand it locks people into existing assets. Now it affects everybody, even if you have 10 cats - you will sell them for a month at normal prices.
Aside from exiting game, which should always be a possibility in a healthy economy, it just becomes impossible to adequately rebuild a portfolio. While you will sell the illiquid cats in your opinion in order to buy more profitable ones - everything will change 100 times more at the current rate of updates.
I urge the developers to stop restricting normal economic relations within the game as soon as possible. No amount of token burning and revising mechanics will help if players know that what they bought is now restricted for sale.

- New-old ranking PVE with ads will be probably live this week
- Rewards in new cathletic games are the same as was at the old PVE. That means devs use the same pool of tokens for rewarding. Now we just don't need to click.
- π© There is no plan to waive market restrictions. Maybe they will be reimagined in future, but devs are planning to keep freezing our assets.
- The team is waiting for the whole market rising and is bullish in $wlkn token. Investors have the same opinion.
- 2048, new second game in CUZE ecosystem will be live very soon. The third game will be soon too.
- There will be new utility of gems
- There will be new mechanics to receive lootboxes with items to keep clothes' market safe.
- Devs know about problem with 2500 pending balance limit and now are seeking for a way to solve this.
- New fusion event will be maybe a constant mechanic of the game.
- Genesis cats will have benefits in cathletic games in future
- After all changes implemented devs will switch focus to develop CUZE ecosystem. As a reminder, we are waiting for new PVP the most now. We would finally have a possibility to just play game without every week changing of mechanics.
- There is no plans to add new rarities
- Marketing campaign of the whole #CUZE ecosystem is planning to start in short days. Final agreements with bloggers are made. In plans - "huge advertisement placement"

We are proud to introduce you to the Walken Top Social Market!
π Service is already tested, launched and working via https://walken.top/market/ π
With the current market limits and the inability to sell cats during games, it's getting harder and harder to unload your portfolio and rebuild cats for new strategy or go into coin. I myself recently tried to sell a level 12 rare for 5k wlkn while floor price for such cats rolled became 4500. Ended up wasting a slot for 5 days. I think this situation is familiar to everyone.
π₯ We solved this problem by creating a social marketplace that works offchain, P2P.
You can put unlimited number of cats on the market and change the price in a second, re-positioning the cat, if you need.
Everything is very simple, the interface is divided into 2 parts: adding a cat to sell and viewing cats on sale to buy.
1οΈβ£ Adding a cat, as well as cathleteβs management is done through bot @WTMarketBot. I think it's simple, but if you write in comments, I will help you understand if something is not clear.
2οΈβ£ Buying a cat is done by contacting the seller. Next to each kitty you can see telegram seller username. Write to him, negotiate a deal. The seller puts the cat on the Walken market for an agreed amount, you take buy it immediately. Or, if the cat is currently in games, or the slot is not available yet - negotiate about the time when the seller will be ready to sell.
π₯³ I invite all players to use our service to buy and sell cathletes. The benefits are obvious:
- You can put on sale any amount of cats in couple of clicks
- You don't get burned slots because of dropping floor or because your cat is too exclusive and needs to hang on the market to find a buyer
- You don't have to sell your cat for too low because of fear it will freeze on the market
- You can farm coins in cathletic games/dueling while your cat is on sale
- You get an extra large pool of cats to buy, and you can negotiate a price with the seller in real time.
- You can ask for a discount on the cat, if appropriate
- All Walken Top Pro and Vip subscribers see your cats in the Pro version interface. Also, in case of matching filters, VIP subscribers will receive pushes on appearance of the needed cat in the bot.
The service will be available free of charge for all users for the limited, but not so limited, amount of time. Try to sell your cathlete, it's convenient!
We look forward to seeing your cats on our Market and your feedback here in the comments. Social Market Service is just beginning its way and in the future we will update it, adding new features, based on your wishes.
βΌοΈ All transactions must be made through the official Walken Market. It serves as a guarantor. Do not agree if you will be offered to sell the cat through the phantom βΌοΈ

β‘οΈFusion has become a permanent game mechanic
And mandatory for holding high ranks. I didn't analyze chances yet, but first impressions I can say after reading the gitbook are positive.
πThe mechanics of ridding the market of cats has been long overdue. The basic laws of the market are pretty simple - supply and demand. With breeds and lootboxes, the number of cats on the market, of all rarities, increases. Now some cats will be burned in a long-term basis.
π€¨How much fuse is profitable is a good question, historically fuse has been not profitable by expected value. But now, since fuse is mandatory, the market will definitely be rebuilt for it. Again there will be 6-common breeders, the most painless cats for fuse, I'm guessing 650 wlkn floor-price on them soon. They will put breeded cats on the market, players will fuse them and again. Such a kind of safe league for fuse is coming out.
π Floors on uncommon, as always, will most likely be hugely dropped. I don't see reasons to fuse other cats, like rares or legendaries, because we have no guarantee like before to get legendary if we fuse legendary. Too dangerous.
π₯ Don't forget the jackpot probability!
π΅ If you look at the big picture - fuse is good for the economy. A little unprofitable by expexted value, but in general there should be pennies in the minus, once a week tax in the conditional 100 wlkn to pay for rank 10, I think, will not be a problem for a player with a normal portfolio of cats. And for those who still have few cats, I advise you to strive for rank 10 through reinvestment, or buy wlkn. Walken strive to reward the most contributive in the project players and it is, in my opinion, fair.
Such a kind of safe league for fuse is coming out.

β‘ Walken Top exclusive: Where we fall
Part 1: The same mistakes
π¨ Six months ago, on January 26, in Walken Top Russian channel I published an open letter to the Walken administration, in which I urged to stop inaction on the part of referral abusers. To recap, at that time abusers were given access to unlimited breeds, which led to the appearance of multi-gene legendaries on the marketplace combined with a 30% dump in legendary prices in general. From the time of the report to the time the letter was published, 3 weeks had already passed. Abusers have made tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in a short amount of time by selling their WLKN.
π Walken has had problems with anti-fraud for the whole time of the project's existence - abuse of referrals, abuse of duels, multi-accounts, step cheating. That's on the one hand. And on the other hand bans of honest players - for the market, for runner, for giving the phone to a relative when you bought a new one. The incommensurability of punishment for violations goes the same way β you will be punished the same way if you shake your phone or if you generate profit from air. Anti-fraud in a crypto project is a cornerstone of the stability of the economy.
π¨ The current collapse of the exchange rate is largely due to the imperfection of antifraud. Walken Top Whales Russian chat four days ago uncovered a huge-scale abuse scheme in which scammers were withdrawing daily "earnings" from thousands of accounts into the CEXes. Following on from that, yesterday, another huge farm was found. How many more of these there are is a very good question.
In Part 2, I'll give details of the Whale community's investigation.

β‘ Walken Top exclusive: Where we fall
Part 2: The Investigation
It all started when Coffein, a top player who you can see weekly on the leaderboard in terms of coins earned, sent a link to a wallet with suspicious activity to the Waken Top Whales chat.
In this wallet we see a constant inflow of small amounts from the pending wallet. At the same time, there is no NFT on the wallet, and to withdraw money from pending, it is necessary. Judging by bitquery activity of the wallet starts in January, so we can predict this abuse lasts at least 7 months.
After farming, coins from thousands of wallets go to the intermediate wallet, such wallets can change every few days. From there tokens are already sent to the main hub, which is 10 months old and we can see that the abuser came to us from Stepn. It is not known how many such hubs there are at the moment, but there is an assumption that there is more than one. The scale of even one such hub is clearly visible in SolsΡan, judging by the even amounts of 100k wlkn per day (3 million wlkn per month), there are most likely many hubs and to hide the traces of tokens these fraudelent activities are scattered across several exchanges.
That is, how many coins exactly leaked at the moment is unclear, but it is clear that the scale is very large and it directly affected the WLKN rate in recent months.
A new farm popped up 2 days ago. Information from the Whale chat that an investigation was underway apparently leaked to the abusers and they started selling cats on an emergency basis. In a matter of minutes, a huge number of rar-cats from different accounts poured onto the market, all as a selection of level 8-9 and at a price of 1133 wlkn, as Walken Top VIP subscribers reported.
How many of these farms are in the game is unknown, but they became a real powerhouse, dropping our coin in price on a daily basis.
All activity was immediately reported to the administration of the project, the reaction came immediately. All found abuse accounts was banned.
In the third part I will publish the Manifesto of the Walken Top Whales Chat to the project administration.

Part 3: The Whales' Chat Manifesto
The community is very concerned about the scale of the game's abuse. We, as honest players who have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in the project, are investors and want the project to live, develop and attract new players. Walken has one of the strongest community. Please do not let us down and start taking action immediately. We have faith in you.
Required:
1. Reform anti-fraud and significantly strengthen the team with specialists
2. Create a system of monitoring fraudulent actions
3. Eliminate false positive bans of honest players
4. Instantly respond to incoming threats
5. Separate bans by the degree of abuse
In addition, I would like the Administration to answer the following questions about farms that were banned in the previous 3 days:
1. What happened?
2. How did the pending coins leave the abusers' accounts without nft?
3. How long these scam chains live?
4. What steps did you take to eliminate the abusers in the moment, are all accounts now banned?
5. How much in wlkn do you estimate the amount of damage, how many coins leaked?
6. The scale of the abuse appears to be quite large - how much do you estimate the impact on the token rate, which has been withdrawn all this time?
7. Are you going to take any actions to prevent similar situations in the future? If yes - what are these actions?

β‘οΈ Walken Top Exclusive - Chests and Games
"We see the tenth chests" - Konstantin Kozlowski, September ama.
π Friends, I present to you a spreadsheet of the last 20 cathletic games from one esteemed player, Alex, a member of Chat of the Whales. Alex diligently recorded every chest that came in and divided them by the rarity of the cats. Alex's cats are almost all dressed, dueling cats. However, he did not take that into sheet when calculating. That is, the actual percentages on getting 10 chests should be even higher than indicated in the table.
The stats include 888 chests. A player who is a professional statistician also appeared in the Whales Chat. We asked him the question.
"can you please calculate how many times a naked legendary cat should go to get chests to make sure with 99% certainty that 10 chests are not given out as stated (2.89%)? The margin of error for this may be 2%."
The answer is 455 chests.
99% is the percentage that statisticians use when they want to calculate something accurately. 2% is an acceptable deviation, i.e. if the percentage is between 0.89 and 4.89, it is a statistically normal deviation. Abnormal is the result when the percentages are out of that range.
π€¨ I don't think I need to tell you how and what to look at in the table. There are zeros in there. Just across all 10 chests, both rares and legs and epics. Not a single chest Alex has pulled out in the entire time. And considering we've taken even sparingly low percentages here - it's all the more wildly bizarre.
π Friends, this is a money game. Real money that you can use to not only buy a cat, but a bun at the store or lamorghini when to the moon finally comes. I've always said that in any p2e it's very important to make sure that developers, in case they write percentages, honor them. It's extremely important to do so. If the developers want to spin those percentages however they want - they have the right not to write them, it's their game. But if they write percentages β these percentages must be strictly observed, always.
Many under this post can say that everything is rigged on purpose. I even heard an opinion from another respected whale that the developers are taking these chests to their accounts. I don't believe in all that. I do believe in simple sloveliness, though. When they introduced the mechanics - on paper it seemed like everything was ok, but in reality it turned out to be not ok. The paperwork hasn't changed since then, but the mechanism of award distribution has changed. Either some bugs can be there β remember the person from Twitter who got only the first chests 2 (maybe more) games in a row.
π Dear Konstantin, Alexey and the whole Walken team. Please reveal to us the honest percentages of chests falling so that we can keep count. Let us in on the secret, why the reward in CG is always the same - 7.5 million. If need be, if you don't think the results are statistically significant - I'll spread this excel to all whales and channel subscribers. In this case, we will accumulate 10 and 50 thousand of chests quite quickly. Please, if you nerf any mechanics, let us know about it. We want transparency.

β‘οΈ Walken team started Russian-speaking Youtube show "Walken News"
Every 2 weeks we will see the team with the news. Here are key moments from the first episode:
Islands may be rebalanced soon (I assume towards mass-adoption)
Walken Blast, Cuze's new game, was shown. In my opinion this is the first real game in the ecosystem. Apparently we won't necessarily have to watch ads every 15 seconds of gameplay. It's good to see Walken developers going in this direction - creating cool games with extra perks for watching ads. This is exactly how I envisioned Cuze to be - an ecosystem of addictive games that seamlessly draw players into the core Walken experience.
Login problems affecting some users remain, but the developers are already solving the problem. We'll just have to wait a little longer.
Most likely there will be 2 collections of new things for winter - for crafting and for the New Year event.
Rebalancing of CG chests is still going on. The process is not fast, but it is close to completion. The completion will be announced additionally. After the rebalance we will receive chests exactly as stated in the documentation. That is, if you have 3% on 10 chests - you will get it in 3% of cases and no other way.
Clan mechanics are being developed very actively.
Dark mode - not in the near future yet. Inventory sorting has more priority.
Sorting in PvP by catlecism rather than alphabetically is a great idea, should be done.
Marketing - nothing has changed. The team is waiting for the moment of market growth to start.
Dexes - postponed again. "They'll be here sooner than you think."
Isles will have a demo mode.
Islands will have the ability to save cathlete teams.
Walken Blocks will have a subscription mode if you would like to just play and receive rewards without watching ads.
