On the citywide Day of Rage for Gaza today we flooded the streets, took over the subway and shut down the Nova Exhibition. Despite NYPD brutality and the targeting of Palestinian Muslim women and organizers, we refused to back down and will continue to resist for Gaza by any means necessary π΅πΈπ»

On Monday, we led thousands in a day of rage for Gaza after the Nuseirat Refugee Camp massacre, bringing the rally to the genocidal Nova Exhibition. We are proud to protest one of the most egregious zionist propaganda projects in our city.
We owe it to Gaza to continue fighting, especially when we are targeted by the enemy and isolated by self-appointed allies. We call on the supporters of the Palestinian people to heed the call from Palestine and escalate β both in words and in action. We are proud of our people. Any institution that facilitates our nationβs destruction will be met with action.

Nurse Hesen was wrongfully fired from her job at NYU after showing compassion for the mothers of Gaza in her acceptance speech for a Compassionate Care Award by NYU.
Nurse Hesen is one of many healthcare workers and professionals who have been censured and fired for standing up against genocide. We need to rally with them and show that the people STAND WITH HESEN.
The horrifying slaughter of Palestinian people during this genocide continues each day. Hospitals have been bombed. Healthcare workers have been abducted and tortured.
Yet NYU remains silent. Even worse than that, they fire their best nurses for refusing to be silent!
Shame on NYU.
We see your complicity in genocide and it must end!
We call on you to condemn this genocide and to divest from Israel and its war criminals.

The state of panic amongst fascist politicians across political parties induced by this action demonstrates the power of autonomous direct action. We reiterate the call from Within Our Lifetime for sustained action against cultural institutions that materially and rhetorically support genocide, and we encourage the people of New York to remain steadfast against threats of repression.
