🚨ALL OUT TO THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM RIGHT NOW🚨🇵🇸

Activists are de-occupying the museum until they disclose and divest from the US-israeli genocide. All out to stand with Gaza‼️🇵🇸

Today, our protest joined autonomous activists in taking over the Brooklyn Museum until they disclose and divest from the zionist genocide. As the inside was de-occupied and a banner was dropped from the roof, we surrounded the museum. Within an hour, the israeli-trained NYPD stormed the museum, targeting and violently arresting activists in the lobby, including WOL chair Nerdeen Kiswani as they ripped off her hijab, while brutalizing protestors outside.

Today, hundreds of New Yorkers flooded the streets for Gaza, marching from Barclays to the Brooklyn Museum. There, we joined autonomous activists who successfully de-occupied the Brooklyn museum. Hundreds of protesters then surrounded the Brooklyn Museum joining the call of the autonomous activists demanding divestment. We will not rest until every institution complicit in genocide divests!

WOL chair, Nerdeen Kiswani was targeted and violently arrested today during an action where autonomous activists occupied the Brooklyn Museum from the inside as our protest flooded the outside. she continues to be held 9+ hours later, alongside other protesters. It is clear that the NYPD is retaliating against Nerdeen and our movement as we continue to flood all of New York for Gaza eight months into this genocide.
