Shalala has refused to negotiate with the encampment for the past 5 days.

There are Faculty, Alumni and Students in the encampment. We are not sleeping. There will be cameras, lawyers and protestors, wide awake.

🚨ALERT: NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau has contacted several arrestees of the 5/18 Nakba 76 rally in Bay Ridge. If they contact you, repeat: "PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION AND MY LAYWER WILL FOLLOW UP WITH YOU" and don't say anything else!

IAB claims they're calling to investigate the officers for misconduct, but we know anything you say to any kind of cop can 1. incriminate you, 2. incriminate someone else, or 3. help them prepare for any lawsuit or complaint you make against the cops for their brutality.

For these reasons it is crucial that you REFUSE to speak to any kind of cop, at any time, without your attorney present, even if one has not yet been assigned to you. Share this with anyone you know who may have been arrested or brutalized by cops on 5/18 or otherwise.
