🇻🇪Venezuela on alert due to increasing suicide rates
Recently, the NGO Community Learning Centers (Cecodap) counted 191 cases of suicidal risk in children and adolescents in the country during the first half of the year, an increase of 17.9% compared to the same period in 2022.
Cecodap noted in the presentation of its recent report on the mental health situation in minors, that adolescents represent the "highest proportion of cases of mood alteration," as well as the "highest suicidal risk."
