A large number of trees were felled on Los Leones avenue, east of the city of Barquisimeto, in the state of Lara, a situation that aroused anger among the community in general.
The workers who were felling the trees were identified with Civil Protection uniforms, although they did not want to issue any opinion when approached.
Presumably, a private company in the area would have ordered the felling of these trees.
