Human rights defender María Fernanda Rodríguez was detained after she participated in a meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner, Volker Türk, during her visit to Caracas.
The complaint was made by the director of Access to Justice, Ali Daniels, who reported that Rodríguez was detained by government agents this Wednesday morning at the Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas.
