A dead four-year-old boy and a seriously injured young woman were the result of a fire registered in a house in the city of Mérida this Saturday afternoon.
The event occurred specifically in passage 2 of Avenida Gonzalo Picón, Domingo Peña parish in the Libertador municipality, for reasons that are being investigated.
The injured woman was identified as Beatriz Echeverría, 25 years old, who was diagnosed with second and third degree burns in more than 70% of her body.
While the little one, Fabián Andrés, who was the son of Echeverría, died a few minutes after entering the University Hospital of Los Andes as a result of the burns he suffered
