Since February 13, 2020, Chavista Regime started massive drills simulating a possible naval and air invasion of NATO and/or the USA against Venezuelan territory called "Bolivarian Shield 2020" as attempt to "flex the muscles" of FANB.

The drills are involving both Venezuela regular forces and Bolivarian 'Milicias' (Civilian paramilitaries loyal to Regime)
