Diliana Torre Alba, 29 years old, was rescued alive after being trapped under the rubble of the Nautilus building in La Guaira for almost 70 hours. The rescue was carried out by teams from El Salvador and the United States.
The rescue worker Maria Salas from the Maracay branch of the Red Cross, died trapped with her family in the Bosque Lindo residence in the Santiago Mariño municipality of Aragua state.
