🇻🇪🇨🇱 A contingent of health professionals from Chile arrives to join the earthquake emergency
A new multidisciplinary team of health professionals is heading to Venezuela to directly assist in the medical care and stabilization of victims of the double earthquake in Caracas and La Guaira. This humanitarian assistance mission was promoted and coordinated by various organizations of the Venezuelan community based in Chile, in alliance with health sector institutions.
The logistical and operational deployment of the personnel was carried out under the following key points:
* Logistical transfer alliance:
The mobilization of the specialists was made possible thanks to the support of the LATAM Airlines' Solidarity Airplane program, a company that facilitated the allocation of air tickets to ensure the immediate transfer of the contingent to Venezuelan territory.
* Composition of the technical team:
The assistance group is made up of highly qualified personnel from established health centers such as ClÃnica Nace and Medipro, as well as active members of the Venezuelan Nurses Association in Chile.
This medical staff will add their technical and operational experience in the hospital and triage tent fronts that assist the affected population in the capital region and the central coast.
