The Office of the President expresses its deepest solidarity with the people of Venezuela following the powerful earthquakes that struck the country's northern coastal region this Wednesday and were felt across much of Venezuelan territory, affecting countless families and causing extensive structural damage and building collapses in several cities, including Caracas.
The Argentine Republic is closely monitoring the evolving situation and expresses its willingness to assist with any humanitarian aid that may be required, in coordination with the relevant international organizations. Beyond any differences that may exist between our governments, President Javier G. Milei extends a hand of solidarity to the Venezuelan people in the face of a natural catastrophe that calls for a response from the entire international community.
In these difficult times, our thoughts are with the affected families and with the rescue and civil protection teams working tirelessly to ensure the safety of the population.
