⚠️🇻🇪 Released from prison, Miguel Gómez, a cable TV director detained for retransmitting images of Maduro's capture

Miguel Gómez, a father of two children and responsible for content management at the subscription television company where he works, had been detained on January 3rd after a Honduran open-signal channel included in his lineup broadcasted — independently and without local editorial intervention — the images of the capture of Maduro and Cilia Flores.

Days before his release, the news platform Dossier Venezuela had denounced that Gómez had been kidnapped since January 3rd in the Ramo Verde detention center, also identified as CORE 1.

The Táchira state community, along with Gómez's family and friends, collected more than 1,500 signatures to demand his release, denouncing that the technical worker had no editorial responsibility over the contents of international channels included in the service's programming.
