⛑️ Venezuelan Red Cross will accompany release process with primary care
According to EFE, the participation of the humanitarian organization is carried out following a formal invitation from the administration of the acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, with the aim of accompanying the release days that are taking place nationwide.
The institution, in its role as an impartial observer, specified that its work will include: Initial medical checkup to document the physical condition of those released. and primary health care, ensuring that any immediate need is attended to.
This intervention is particularly relevant because many detainees have spent years in precarious conditions, and the monitoring ensures that their physical integrity is respected when they leave prison.

We are in Venezuela as part of an international peace delegation to see the impacts of US attacks and how we can work for peace.
Yesterday, we met and rallied with Venezuelans who are demanding the release of their president, Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, who are still being held in US detention.
From the United States, we must continue to stand up against the actions of our government against Venezuela.
